I had 2 parties early on in the year.
Party plan A- there was no hostess gift, no half price items no free jewellery , just 10% off my order. I was not impressed, suffice to say no one booked a show and I will not be having another party for her.
Party plan b- was exactly the same. No hostess gift as my sales were not X amount of dollars, nothing for free or half price. I think I got 5% off my order.
Not one of my friends booked a party, ( why?) because there is nothing in it for them if they do.
I am happy to say that both these party plans are not listed on this forum.
To me My hostesses are my future business and our company looks after them and I do as well with extra special gifts. I love my Hostesses to death and I think i do a good job in spoiling them rotten.

This really isn't a good policy is it as they won't get future bookings if they don't look after their hostesses.
I went to a party yesterday where the hostess only got a 10% discount from her sales, no hostess gift or other incentives.
I don't know whether anyone booked, but Icertainly wouldn't consider it.

I'm really suprised to hear this, are these new companies? They obviously haven't done much research and they won't last in this business either.
I can understand not receiving any hostess benefits for not achieving sales as most companies have a minimum in sales to achieve but to not get anything at all, even a thanks for booking gift is crazy.
They must be really arrogant to thing they have a brilliant product that everyone wants

Hi,
I would be so embarrased going into someones house and not spoiling them.
I just came home from a jewellery show not long ago and Grace was a lovely hostess.
She had 4 ladies there and she was so happy with what she got, she rebooked for January for the January $120 Hostess watch.
I sold $437 so walked away with $218 profit for 2 hours. ( This was a below average show as 4 ladies cancelled at the last minute).
Anyway Grace received a gorgeous $70 swarovski- silver crytal bracelet for FREE, a 2 piece necklace set valued at $70 for $5, a $120 set for $60, a $50 bracelet for $25 and $50 earrings for $25.
So all up $360 worth of jewellery for $115.
At this show a lady called Mary booked a show as well because she wanted me to spoil her as well.
so I love my job and I love my Hostesses and I absolutely love to spoil them.
It makes me so happy.
