Can I share ?
It started at 5.30am this morning; H aged 7 and E aged 4, came and jumped into bed with us for a cuddle but at the same time eager to get us out for an Egg Hunt. I knew it would be raining (It's been peeing down for hours...) so I had a quick word to the Easter Bunny/Bilby (very PC) and he agreed to do the drop off in the house.
Told the kids to go and make their beds and get dressed so that we could go to hunt for Easter Eggs. Beds started to ge made and shrieks...............MUM THE EASTER BUNNY'S LEFT THINGS UNDER OUR BED !!! (Clever, aren't we ? Didn't even have to get out of bed !) I said, "Wow, why did you think he left them there ?" E says (with loads of 4 year old attitude) "Well, it is raining and he wouldn't want mud on his white paws"
Dragged DH out of bed, brewed the coffee and got out the leftover Hot Cross Buns (I am very proud of myself by the way....I held out until Thursday before Good Friday before I bought any Hot Cross Buns). Now getting ready to head off to church, sing loudly and celebrate what our family believes.
To everyone, whatever you believe,
Hope you all have a truly blessed day. Spend time with Family and Friends and take time to let them know how much you love and appreciate them. To me, Easter is all about Love !
I love all of you for the contributions that each of you make to the world. All of us are here for a purpose; we may not know what purpose yet, but all of our lives are inter-woven and will somehow effect the lives of one another.
If I may, "For God So Loved the World, he gave his Only Son" (John 3:16). I don't know what else to say, as this is my favourite sentence from the bible. I just read it over and over again and am secure in the knowledge that I am loved as is everyone else.
Love to all of U

Thanks Mel, what a beautiful post.
My family and I will head to the park today to feed the ducks and play for a few hours. It's an absolutely stunning day here inKalgoorlie-Bouilder today. My husband for once is not actually working at all this holiday weekend which is very rare indeed.
Happy Holidays everyone.
