Hi all,
The most bizzare thing happened to me last night!
I fell out of bed! Well actually I catapolted myself out of bed.
I was dreaming that I was in this gang war type thing, and each war was in four sections. I had to for some reason get over to section four to be safe, as they were the gangs with Guns, the others had other equipment.
As I was on the fence just about to get into gang four, somebody was about to grab me, and in my dream, I jumped into gang four - WELL I did not make it, as I catapolted myself out of bed, and into my bedside chest, and struck the corner of my eye - it was not until i felt something running down my face that i knew i injured myself, it was blood coming from a gash, as the side of the chest of draws is sharp, especially when hitting it with force. I laid in bed dazed and bleeding for sometime until i passed out.
I have this massive bump, plus cut from the whole experience, not to mention blood all over my pillows.
being a boy i did not go to the doctors, but gee my headach is terrible, and just above the eye. I certaily will not sleep on that side of the bed again.

Has this ever happened to any of you????????
StampinUp replied:
NO!!!
You poor thing! What a shock to the system THAT must have been!
~ My dreams are also vivid like that. Mainly bizarre dreams, but no catapulting!
In my dreams, I have been shot, and awoken with a massive pain where I dreamt I was shot!
(I don't fall out of bed easy. I am in a queen sized bed by myself!)
You are lucky to have escaped with only a cut! And, a near miss of your eye to boot!
Hope you have more pleasant dreams tonight!

Oh Richard my Dear,
that sounds absolutely awful, please take care of yourself.
I have had instances where i have dreamt i am falling down
off a cliff or a mountain and i have
woken up with a huge jolt and my heart beating a hundred
miles an hour.
I've also had instances where i have been crying so much in
my dream i have woken to find my face full of tears.
Its amazing isnt it?
Hope you are feeling better asap!

Oh Richard, your poor thing, stay safe please, my dreams are with you, hoping for safer dreams. I often dream about my company but not about gangs, dreams happen for a reason, I used to have a book which explained each symbol, not sure where it got to. Best wishes.

I have just recently had a change in medication and one of the side effects is dreaming and boy are they bizzar sometimes have 4 or 5 night that I remember.
Diferent things have dfferent symbols for people in their dreams, I am sure if Richard dreams about a dog then it is to do with warm positive feelings because of his boys, if I dream about a dog it has a different meaning to me I was raised to have a dislike of dogs so in my dreams a dog is a negative, sure I like dogs but I couldnt eat a whole one.
With the whole falling thing and waking with a jolt I am sure not many would know that this is the result of a seizure (fit) it is called a Myoclonic Seizure and what is happening is that your brain actually for some reason thinks that you are dead so it sends a small electriacl pulse through the body to kickstart it back to life.
Pleasant dreams everyone

Ohh Richard poor you!!! That is awful that you had such a scare.
I don't fall out of bed, but hubby does and lots!!! When he is very tired he has night terrors, which on many occassions he has fallen out of bed, picked up the bed to chest height and said to me ..."quick get out from there, theres an allegator in here!" When he lived at home when he was about 17 he moved his tall boy in front of his bedroom door all while asleep.
The first time it happened with me we had only been living together a short while and he sat bolt upright in bed, so I put my hand on his shoulder and said " Are you ok darling?" His left elbow came back and hit me fair in the forehead, I didn't remember anything until the next morning. He had knocked me out!!! For a long time after that I was still worried about him as he walks around the bedroom hitting his feet knocking his knees, falling out of bed and pulling the sheets to get back up as he thinks he is on a mountain. Now I just put the lamp on to wake him up and say in a low stern voice "GET BACK INTO BED!!!!!!!"
But yes it can be frieghtening for the other half listening and watching this.
Hope you had a better night tonight Richard, maybe you have a lot on your mind and it's working overtime?

Richard, I will put my nurse cap on for 5 secs. GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!
Even if the cut is clean and doesn't need stitching, you passed out and you need to be checked for concussion. NOW - please.

P.S. I do this regularly only I wake up screaming and manage to get the entire household in my room in seconds. It is amazing the kids just levitate.
Funniest thing was one night I woke up to hearing the count (sesame street) going ah ah ah and it was Fras dreaming, about what I am afraid to ask but it was a little disconcerting to say the least.

Hey All,
I was due to go to the doctor today, and just could not make it, though I am going on Saturday, as I now a a beautiful shade of purple right over me eye lid, and a horrible scab forming on my brow.
The purple looks quite good if i was doing drag, however I am sure it is on its way to blue black, then the fade sequence = YUK looking.
I do still have pain, though no where near as bad as it was, and yes I will see the doctor on Saturday.
Like Marty I am on meds thats cause dreaming, and very vivid, and every night without fail. Sometime my dreams are real good, and I am happy, though i have some really revolting dreams, where I too wake up in a flood of tears for one reason or another.
Perfumeprincess! WOW, that is a WOW to pick up the bed etc etc, until you became used to the dreams it must have been very frightful.
I am somewhat embarrassed by my sleeping habbits, as the last time " M " stayed over i woke him screaming
I only use organics, hahahahahahahahah lol
But from the other night, I will never sleep on that side of the bed again.
I am really interested to hear more about dreaming :)

My scariest dream was when I had an awful day when working with nm, a lady decided to stamp on a product and ask me for a refund, it wasn’t a great day, and the other guests were also quite rude. Oh well, I went to bed that night and dreamt I was jumping out of a plane, sky diving I thought, then my cape didn’t open. I could feel myself shaken and then before I hit the city ground, I woke up, my body moved forward. I was so terrified that night I decided to do my orders, not from that other party either. I couldn’t sleep till 2am in the morning, it’s ok now I’m a night owl lol.
