Know how you feel. How hard is it to forget Madonna - I simplify it to M these days so no one can forget or misspell lol.
I still get very annoyed when people try to rename my daughters though - it isn't hard to listen and remember a name.

I can't tell you how many times I get called Rebecca. Is my name anything like Rebecca, I don't think so! People just don't listen these days.

People just can't seem to get their head around the fact that my daughter is Maegan, not bloody Megan!!!! (No offense to any Megan's out there, it is just as lovely!!) I really didn't think it was that tricky, or weird!! She copes with it though, dear little Aquarian that she is, just smiles and answers anyway!!! Mum doesn't though, LOL!!! I'm going to have to toughen her up!!

I don’t think I’ve ever done that and don’t plan to either. Whatever the customer supplies me I use. Although I spelt receipt wrong on my invoices. My spell checker was off by accident and didn’t realise till I had sent them all. Oh well you live and learn I’d say!

It's unusual, AND hard to remember. I correct people when they call me Lavinia (as I hate being called that! Or Lav EW!)
and someone from here spelt it Latvina!!! (mind you I think it was a typo!) he he!
The funniest? My Partners' Finish Aunt! Called me Aloe Vera!!! he he he!
Sometimes you really have to roll with it! Depends on the day tho for me!
I tend to shorten it for my friends. Vin or Vinni
- and kids! Yabina! ha ha ha! My girlfriends' kids now call me Bin! and my bestest friend calls me Binni!
Now a days I tend to answer to most things tho!
