Discussions : Goals and ambitions : A New Direction

Hi All,
For the last 3 yrs, I hve been a very happy, and proud to say it, stay home mum.
Although infinately rewarding emotionally, (being with my babies) it has been pretty hard financially, and we recently had to sell the house and go back to renting.
Now, together with a very close friend, (also a stay home mum) we have decided to find work that we can do around our kids, and improve our financial prospects.
We are in the process of starting up our own PP company and are really excited.
I can't wait to see what this new direction brings!!! Already I am a renewed person, and life is rapidly changing. My hubby is spending more time with our boys and the whole family is benefitting for it.
I have started a business management course and also am losing a few extra kilos going to Weight Watchers.
So, my current goal and ambition is to enjoy this ride, stress less and be so so grateful for the new opportunities that life has brought me for 2007.
That cliched saying about every cloud having a silver lining comes to mind, as who ever would have thought that losing the house could bring such positive changes.
Regards,
Hennypenny

hey Hennypenny,
Best wishes and good luck with your new business-that sounds exciting!
I have to admit, these last few months have been the hardest financially and naturally that becomes emotionally draining, without question. I have always believed in party plan, and most importantly working for ourselves and being rewarded for our talents and abilities. I have also had to rationalise the money side of things lately, and am working feverishly to "make it happen".
Now i am also throwing myself back into business where i belong.
I admire your strength!
