I've seen these types of reports before and they are so true.

My own experience this year has borne it out too. People are forgoing the expensive overseas trips, new cars and other high end luxuries. But they still treat themselves to the little luxuries. Holiday in their home state, revamp a favourite dress with new bling and lippy or some new shoes.

Party plans traditionally thrive in these market conditions as more people look to suppliment their income and support their family and friends.
