What are the real ingredients of success? Is it advertising, education or product? You may think so, but those who experience real success in their business know the true answer: People make all the difference. Creating a successful culture that is purpose-driven starts simply with people.

 

Those who understand a culture of success spend a good portion of their time surrounding themselves with great people who create a winning mindset for their organization.

A few important things to remember as you create your team and focus on creating a winning mindset for your Downline are the following.

 

1.  Size does matter: One thing that most famous leaders have in common is an acknowledgment stems from creating a large, strong support cast around them. Assembling a large Downline is an asset when they are all of the same heart and will working toward similar goals.

 Dreams are not just for bedtime: Dreams are not just a set of goals on someone’s to do list. Dreams are about personal meaning, value and purpose.  If you want your team to up their productivity, it’s essential for you to understand what their real dreams are.  Rather than assume you know what motivates the people in your Downline, call a meeting for the purpose of talking about dreams, for gaining insight into what makes the members of your Downline tick.

Some questions you can use to find out what dreams motivate your Downline to success include:

A:  What is the thing you enjoy most about your SeneGence® career?

B:  If you could get out of bed tomorrow and do anything you wanted, what would be on your list?

C: What gets you completely ramped up?

D: How do you make a contribution in the world?

 

  1. There’s always a diamond in the rough: You just have to look for it. In any circumstance, positive or negative, there is opportunity. Among any group, there is someone who gets overlooked. They may not have skills, in a traditional sense, that are easy to see at first glance, but everyone has something to offer. It is your job as the Upline to find it.

       Believe and you (and your team) will succeed: If you find a way to believe in those around you, to be supportive, to encourage, to look for reasons why they will be successful, and to communicate your positive beliefs, you will have an enormous impact and you will enhance their performance over time.

 

In Summary:

  1. Compile a large team and focus your efforts in this area on people with heart, passion and energy.
  2. Pay attention to what really drives people underneath the surface. Make it a priority to get to the people on your team.
  3. Search for diamonds in the rough, show people opportunity that others have not shown them.
  4. Engage in the incredible power of belief.

 

Do these four things - do them frequently and with priority, and your business will see the payoffs in increased sales, Downline development and overall achievement of all the goals you set for yourself and your business.
