Hi All,
I won't introduce myself as a Newbie... as I joined last year -however this is my first post!! (sorry...)
Up until recently I use to sell Avon (which I have given up because of ill health). I am still looking for "work from home" options that I can do, that won't over tax myself. I found with the Avon business, I'd be putting a lot of work into it - but getting little out of it... (that's not to say that all people who work with Avon experience that... as I know of quite a few who are VERY successful with this).
Are there any party plan options out there that might suit someone who is recovering from a serious illness (and doesn't want to sit around & do nothing...) - with Avon, there was a lot of sorting & packing involved with the orders too - is this a generic thing with Party Plans - or do your orders already come packaged? And how often do you experience "back orders" & such (this was a constant struggle with my business as well... )
Any assistance, suggestions, ideas or feedback would be most appreciated... I love the party plan industry... but I don't think I've found what is right for me yet...
Thanking you in advance,
Ren

Hello Ren!
So your looking for something new! Here is something to consider...
Firstly....when working out what party plan company to be involved with you first need to think about what your interests are? This is very important when considering what to sell. Are you a jewellery person? Do you really enjoy naturally made products? Homewares? Beauty products? Clothing etc etc etc.
Whatever your interests are...this is what you should be selling. No point joining a company and having no interest in the products! Once you know what products you would like to sell, then look into the different companies that sell these products. There are so many companies out there and they all work in different ways, some pre-pack the orders, some are completely hopeless in supplying stock etc....once you decide on a few companies you can find out all the nitty gritty details your after and you will surely find one suitable for you!
I enjoy helping people find the right party plan business venture. If you have any questions, I am more then happy to help!
Good luck!

Hi Ren,
Firstly hello :)
I'm with Miessence Certified Organic Skin care and health (Onegroup) and all of their products can be sold via party plan, and also on the web site they give you when joining. The start up cost is $88.00AU which includes the web site to sell from, however the fun and earning potential is all up to you.
I am not sure what was your illness, though over christmas and new year I was in hospital with Liver funtions not working well at all, and I started on In-Liven which is a 100% Certified Organic superfood, with time I became better - however my sponsor really advocated that I start In-Liven, and I must say my total wellbeing has not been better, not to mention my poo pooing has never been better along with a tummy that never feels bloated anymore.
I am happy to chat over the phone with you to help you decide if Miessence would be the venture for you, however I seriousley suggest you visit the web site below and check out the In-Liven product as that would be for you. By being a skin care consultant you would have no trouble moving the only brand on the plannet that is 100% certified organic.
I personally recommend the Miessence brand as a professional beauty therapist as the skin care causes NO reactions, as there are NO chemicals of any kind.
Hoping the above has been a little bit of help:)

Hi Ren,
I am with PL - candles and accessories - and we don't have any deliveries or packing. Basically the show ordered gets delivered straight to your hostess. We also have no cost to get started. If you are interested in some more information just let me know.

Hi Tanya, Richard and Karen,
Thank you all for your help here - it is greatly appreciated!
Tanya - you've given me some GREAT advice - thank you (hmmm what to do if you like "all of the above"?! lol) - I'm going to have fun researching all of these options! Thank you.
Richard - thank you for your email - the Miessence business sounds interesting - and the idea that they're natural products sounds good too! I'll have a look at the website and will get back to you.
Karen - thank you for your email (and for finding me a tupperware rep!!) - hmmmm candles... seeming as "dusk" is my FAVE shop... and I have done courses in interior decorating... this sounds like a lot of fun! Can't wait to hear more about it!!! Thank you!
Well... I am off to my hens party now... (so I won't really be able to log back on here until Sun evening/Monday sometime).
Thank you all again & I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!
Cheers,
Ren :)
