Just watched Brisbane Extra ( look up the website for recipe ) and they made the most Yummiest looking cake in a mug!!

A few tablespoons here of sugar, s/r four, chocoalte chips etc in a LARGE Mug, then into the microwave for 3 minutes!

It does expand, and explode over the sides Just take your whole microwave plate out and enjoy!

The next time you have guests you can whip up a cuppa and a mug of cake all in 3 minutes!!!

Believe it or not you can buy them in the supermarket!!!
I have tasted one as a friend bought one and made it but it tasted a bit plasticy.

... who purchase the Princess Heritage Latté Mugs for the last 18 months (little recipe cards I made up are in my kit at all times).

If you don't want the explosion, put it into 2 mugs, then you have room at the top for some whipped cream or ice cream or even fruit if you want to pretend to be healthy for a minute.  The mugs I sell are 300ml so 2 x 300ml; works like a charm.

I saw the cake on Brisbane Extra and thought it put a completely different slant on a hot chocolate - with or without marshmallows?  wouldn't they melt beautifully on top!

There is a kids cooking show on Nick Jr that had something similar to that also.  The 7yr olds show is called 'Cooking for Kids with Lindsay' and she did Chocolate Mug Cakes.  They look great!
