For all those people that wish to make a donation, here a just a couple of ways to help those in need.

  1. Donations to the Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund can be made at any National Australia Bank. BSB: 082-001. Account: 860 046 797.
  2. Donations can also be made to the The 2009 Victorian bushfire Fund via this link https://www.redcross.org.au/Dona...
  3. Or call the red Red Cross on 1800 811 700
I hope you can help in any way that you can.

Thanks for that info Kate,
it saves us searching for it.
Of course we too will do all we can to help.
It is indeed a frightening disaster.

The other major banks have set up their own accounts. Plus on Thursday night Channel 9 are hosting a telethon. It's amazing the spirit that comes out when a community is in need.

For those in Melbourne, tomorrow morning Fox 101.9 and Triple M 105.1 are broadcasting together to raise as much funds as they possibly can.

I drove my kids to school this morning with tears in my eyes as I listened to the heartbreaking stories of people that rang in. I'm in the process of arranging some fundraising through Nutrimetics. Please keep your eyes open for more details.

It is amazing Kate, the remarkable Australian spirit like nothing else lives on again. As for the news channels like nine, that would mainly be a publicity statement. From previous experiences the media uses these events to gain more audience even though they probably do care, it’s the reason behind spending so much air time on the news, amazing what can cancel home & away isn’t it, it has to be paramount for that to be cancelled!

I challenge all consultants from every PP, Mutil Level and Network Marketing company to ring their Australian Head Office and see if any donations can be made to the Victorian Bushfires Appeal in the way of money, product or alike.

I rang the Head Office of one of the companies The Business Development & Support Group deal with, Amway Of Australia. They are currently trying to work out what help they can give and will be announcing their donation in the coming days once details are finalized.

Will let you know more, once these details are made public.

So the challenge is on!

Lets see what we can do, for those in need.

Hi All,

Here is the update from Amway of Australia. These amounts raised are on top of the many organsations that Amway already denotes to every year.

Amway of Australia will donate $20,000 of goods to the victims of the Victorian bushfires.

Products will include 18,000 nappies, 75 litres of laundry detergent and 500 toothbrushes and toothpaste.

“Many families have lost everything,” Michial Coldwell, General Manager of Amway Australia, said today.

“Our thoughts are with the people of Victoria as they begin the difficult task of re-building. I hope these items

can be of some help.”

Many local people and Amway staff at Castle Hill have donated blankets, products and other household items.

In total, three tonnes of goods will be sent to Victoria. “The local community has donated generously to help

the people of Victoria. Local staff and Amway people have given all they can to help,” Michial Coldwell said.

Today’s assistance is in addition to the $50,000 cash donation to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund.
