Just wanted to post this on here as I have had quite a few people either email me or message me and txt me to see if I was ok from yesterdays fires in Narre Warren Vic.
I just want to thank you for your concern. Yesterday was a shocking day in Victoria as most of you would be aware.
6 Houses burnt to the ground in Narre Warren South. Which is not far from where I live. Yesterday the sky was blanketed with smoke and embers flew occassionally in our back yard. There were a few other grass fires nearby but fortunately we are ok.
My heart goes out to all that have lost their homes and been effected by this tragedy.
Once again for those that contacted me. Thank you for thinking of me.
We have had a small amount of rain this morning and thunder and lightening. Rain seems to have gone again for now so can only hope lightening doesnt cause any more problems.

So relieved your are ok, SA has had the heat badly too but thankfully we were spared the awful fires.
It is so tragic so many have lost their lives and others all that they own.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those going through such traumatic times in Victoria and Queensland

Thank you and yes glad SA has been spared these awful fires. I know of so many people effected right around Victoria. I was just told the beautifil town of Marysville has been leveled and there is nothing left?!? Still 11 or more fires burning out of control.
I also feel for those in North Queensland with the terrible flooding. It is crazy weather with both extremes. Lets hope mother nature soon settles

Glad to hear you are OK. I would gladly pump some of these floods down to you. We have more water around here than we need, it should be a happy medium!! Send the water south to help with the fires.

How is the situation there? I hope you are all chipping in to help. Im so sad for everyone and limited to what I can do. Frustrating and watching from afar brings tears to my eyes.
Huge sea containers left today with donations from WA so hopefully this will help a little
