I was going over Stardust material & got to wondering how "green" other pp companies were & what do they do for the environment.
These of course come from London's Head Office, but as an individual I also follow a few of these points in my day to day activities.
So, how 'green" are you?

Stardust Kids Environmental & Ethical Policy
Stardust care's about the environment and is committed to continuous improvement to reduce, re-use, recycle and create sustainable solutions:
TransportWe encourage all our staff to walk, cycle to work.
· 100% of our workforce's total mileage in travelling to work is by public transport, bicycle or by walking.
· Wherever possible, public transport will be used to attend meetings.
EnergyWe conserve energy wherever possible.
· All electricity sourced from 100% renewable sources.
· High efficiency light bulb are used throughout our premises
· Appliances are turned off when not in use.
· Floors are insulated.
· Offices are double-glazed throughout.
Waste Minimisation and RecyclingWe reduce, re-use and recycle waste.
· We recycle paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, tin, aluminium, and electrical equipment.
· Return printer cartridges to suppliers for re-use and support charity toner appeals.
· Donate any redundant IT equipment to charities for re-use.
· Reduce printing and paper waste through monitoring systems.
· Re-use printed paper for internal work.
· Minimise paper use by storing information digitally rather than paper files.
· Use 100% recycled paper for printing and stationary products where possible.
· Any garments that do not reach our quality standard are donated to Charity.
ManufacturingWe strive to produce all our garments ethically.
· We undertake regular ethical assessment of our manufacturers and assist them in complying with the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code.
GeneralWe also:
· Provide fair trade tea and coffee to staff and use environmentally friendly cleaning products.
· Use biodegradable washing up liquids, cleaning products and toilet cleaners.
· Ensure all employees know and understand the policy and what is expected of them.
· Comply with environmental legislation, regulations and government guidance.
· Constantly seek to improve our environmental performance through monitoring systems, target setting and policy reviews.
