Perhaps I am interpretting this all wrong and please let me know if I am..... Are you wanting to advertise your business at your brothers wedding??

In my opinion this is neither the time or the place for such a thing. And I personally would be really annoyed if someone did that at mine.

I would have to agree with Kelly... If someone came to my wedding and started trying to actively sell stuff to my guests I would ask them to leave - no matter who they were.  I think it will make the guests uncomfortable, perhaps embarrass the bride and groom, and do your business more harm than good.

You would be much better off just making a good impression on the guests using your personality so that the door is partly open to approach them at a more appropriate time.

to me it depends. are you designing the stationary/ do wedding planning or decorating etc? then i think that it would be ok to have something (very) small there e.g. if you're doing the stionary perhaps have our website address on the back of the place cards. if you're not directly involved with the planning and decorating of the reception, then don't go there. be nice and friendly and if people ask what you do tell them, if they're interested give them a business card. but dont go out to directly sell things to people on the day- thats just really tacky.

Hello Ladies,

I dont do anything except turn up at the wedding.  Wedding  ceremony and wedding reception is held in one place at the Golf Club . I  do have some ideas but was just asking for more ideas.

I thought maybe there will be some brilliant ideas that i can have and less expense as what i have in mind is a bit expensive.

The bride is the one who arrange everything. I dont want to sell stuff  just my business card etc....

Thank you,

Liddy

Asterix,
What is your idea?

Asterix replied:

Hello Candy

My idea is i will have a small bag red color as the motive color for the wedding  is red and inside is my business card, small flyer and 6 pieces of small chocolates and put it on the table and this will cost money as there are 100 invited guest.

and the other idea is just a small ribbon with my business card attach to it.

Hello Liddy.
I actually like your first idea with the small red bag,
choccies and your business details inside.
It's not ugly, it fits in with the colour scheme
and everyone will appreciate the choccies too!
Sounds good, why not? especially if the bride and
groom are ok with it....i think it will work well.

i like the choccies idea too, not over the top, not taking the attention away from the day. and if the bride and groom are ok with it then go ahead!

Asterix replied:

Thank you Esther and Hollie, i still haven't ask my Bro and the Bride as i wanna be sure what i am doing before i will ask them.
