I always just listen to really loud music in the car to get me in a great mood, so that my parties are fun.   I never rehearse what I'm going to say as I think that it does sound rehearsed at the party and it gets boring after a while.  If the party sounds boring to me, I hate to think of how it sounds to the Hostess and her guests.  Variation in Adult party plan is good too as each party can be very different from the next.

Isn't that funny! I think a trend is actually starting to appear. I too sing really loudly at the top of my lungs to my favourite songs when driving to a party. It relaxes me, puts me in a good mood and I have fun.

I also prepare my party at home before I go, so make up party packs etc. Have everything organised in my kit for easy displaying and less time to set up everything. Make sure all the handouts are distributed in my catalogue folders etc. Well worth the effort and more time for talking and selling the products at the party.

I sometimes listen to training CD's in the car to get intot eh right frame of mind. I find that after I listen to particular topics on the CD I then put them into place at the party and get really great results. It is so easy to forget different things when doing your party so it helps to make the party really sucessful for the hostess, guests and me!

I'm with you adult ladies there!!  It must be the industry.  I listen to music, I have an especially good cd I love to get me in the mood, it has tracks like 'It's raining Men' on it.  So I love to sing along and cars next to me must think, ok, nutter or rocker???  I never rehearse what I am going to say or the games I am going to play, I let it go with the flow.  Judge each party as it comes.
