I am new to this site but love it. I am with a fairly new party plan EzyGifts. I have seen a post here from one of the consultants, it is really good to see them spreading out.
If you are familiar with Flaschengeist stores you will know EzyGifts. We are the party plan side of the company. We specialise in non commercially available Wines, Liqueurs, Oils and Vinegars.
I love being able to do taste testing partys where all my customers can try all the liqueurs, etc before they buy.
We have 2 new flavours for this year (so far) the new Turkish Delight liqueur is really yummy and so is the Jaffa Liqueur. My favorite is definetly the Chocolate Vodka.
There are consultants Australia Wide so if you would be interested in a party or learning more email me and I can let you know where a consultant near you is.
I hope to be able to get some great ideas as well as contribute some.

Now seriously guys - this is an AWESOME company to belong to and YES we have released TWO NEW FLAVOURS so far this year - JAFFA LIQUEUR and TURKISH DELIGHT LIQUEUR YUMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you go with liquor licensing (which may be different in each state!!)
Do you need to hold a liquor license to hold parties?? Do you have requirements to meet when holding a party (ie, do you have to check peoples ages)??
This sounds really interesting, but knowing that even if you have a party (like a 21st at a hall), you are meant in many cases to have a liquor license - so I imagine if you are selling liquor you would more than likely need one.

The liquor licence is a direct sales licence held in SA. All of our ordering is done thru SA, consultants do not sell direct- we dont collect money and we dont make deliverys.
All payments are paid directly into the Companys account and goods are sent direct to the customer so the transaction is actually made in SA. Consultants are paid directly into their bank accounts each month.
Consultants dont need to have individual liquor licences, or RSA certs. And hosts do not need to worry about any of it.
