I am just so excited that I had to post here which is a first for me here in this topic. After having a break over Christmas and then my computer dieing and having 6 weeks off line due to school expenses etc... I have had a new lease of life so to speak.
I have tidyed up Cheeky Chops and started adding Saucy Fish products. Alot of family and friends have said how great it is becoming with alot of time and effort put into the site. It is my "other housework" (the behind the scenes of Cheeky Chops).
This afternoon I had a look at my web stats for Cheeky Chops and was blown away. I am so excited!!!! I had hoped for good stats by the end of March but it is only the end of Feb. Yah!! All of the hours of adding Cheeky Chops to free directories, tidying up the site to be more customer friendly and offering great offers to potential customers has paid off.
My stats have increased so much in the last 2 weeks -
# visitors up - 82 unique vistors
# visits to the site - up 92
# pages looked at - up 1159 (fabo)
# hits on the website - up 4530 (fabo)
Competition is so high now amoungst web based businesses that it all boils down to putting your business out there to get customers in to look around. No matter what your site is - a shopping site or just a way of promoting your business getting it out there is the most important part of getting your sales - set time aside to do your behinds the scenes housework and it will pay off. Maybe not in a few weeks but in a month or so you too will start seeing customers coming and going and hopefully purchase.
My next goal will to double my Feb web stats for March and also double my customer data base for e-newletters and offers.

Now all I need now is my hard work to pay off LOL
My biz partner & I are trying to implement new things so we hope our stats will increase too very soon we have big plans for this year
