The best advice I can give is to never give up. I have been doing party plan now for 9 months and I love it. Just remember that Rome wasnt built in a day and that it does take time to build a customer base. Always take your business cards with you everywhere you go as you never know who will be interested.

From what I have heard Adult parties sell themselves

I have found my best customers via haircuts, shop assistants and chatting to people in the checkout line

What do you have to lose really? Give them a card,....be daring and you never know. Your card may end up in bin or it may bring you great business, for me I guess I have great intuition as every 2nd person Ive handed a card to has booked a party so choose wisely!

Once you have your name out there business will flow and you dont even need to push bookings as business will come to you.

Make sure every party is a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Thanks to all who have welcomed me to this site.  All advice has been great.  I'm hoping to start my parties within the next month.  I find when I ask people if they would have a party for me, they are a little shocked at first.  This is not something I would have normally done.  I explain that I am in my 30's now and 'why not'.  After a few mins chatting with them, I find most people are actually quite interested.  And I love using the line "Its gotta be more exciting than Tupperware" LOL No offense to the Tupperware sellers.  :P  Thanks again, Tracey X
