Hi Everyone,

Been a while since I posted so I thought I would post a question about today's children.

I often daily deal with children of varying ages and sometimes am shocked at the language they speak. Have any of you ever had a positive experience with a strange child.

I did today he was about 9 and was reaching for a bottle of water way out of his range, I asked hom which bottle he was after and he said the "Yellow one Please" when I got it for him he then said "Thankyou:" I was shocked but happy that some of the values and lessons that I was taught as a child are still being used today.

Tell us what experience you have had

I too am appalled by the lack of manners in today's children.
I feel a lot of it comes down to what they are seeing and hearing, or more importantly NOT seeing and hearing at home.
I must admit my own manners had gotten quite dreadful, but since I had my daughter they've risen to new heights and I'm pleased to say that we're quite often complimented on her manners, I just hope they don't disappear once she hits school and starts socialising with other children who may not have been brought up the same way.

As they say ............HOME DEVILS, STREET ANGELS

I guess as long as my kids are nice and polite when out and about, I can tolerate a bit of nonsense at home!!!
