I don't know about you girls, but I feel like a hairdresser with my hostesses sometimes. I hear the most outrageous things about their personal life!
So, tell me, what's the most interesting thing a hostess has shared with you??
Keep details private though!
Mine is: A hostess told me all about a family illness, family sex scandal and being accused of an affair with her best friend.....all in the one phone call!

Ooooooh, great topic! I went to a party last week where I was told all about the bitter divorce between one of my customers (who I met that day) and her hubby, soon to be ex. Very heated and juicy. But I felt really sorry for her, as she was only a year older than myself, and I imagined myself in the situation (not good) - thank goodness no kids were involved.

But she was going to have a happy ending - i hope so anyway.

Well I guess here too it depends on the industry.  I get everything from , well he's the giver and I am the receiver.  I just had a baby and I can't c*m.  Hubby just can't get it hard.  You name it!!! Oh and by the way, they are all followed up with , so What do you recommend????????????

Zammy replied:

MJ, I know what you mean, sometimes it's difficult when you can really empathise with the situation!

Zammy replied:

[ExMember148]: So I guess you're half party consultant, half sex therapist hehe

ExMember148 replied:

 Oh indeed.

Just take a seat on the couch and tell me everything.............ROFL  (that might be my next new topic post!!! )

Zammy replied:

At least you can say your job is never boring!

Being in the same industry as you [ExMember148], I know exactly what you mean.  Many of the customers and Hostesses are not shy at all and I have no problems talking with them either. Sometimes when it's your mum telling you stuff, you really don't want to know!  hehe   Sometimes, if the person is comfortable enough, I will ask them questions also.  I figure, that's the best way to learn in this business

Well you would think that as a childrens book and cd rom seller that my booklook conversations would be about children and their reading.... well not always.!!!

One day I was doing a booklook with a group of new mums all with babies under 12 months when the topic of personal relationships came up.

One woman quite boldly started telling us all that she make her hubby pay for it if he wants it and she makes at least $50 a fortnight.  I really had to bite my tongue from jokingly asking is she was cashed up to buy any books for her children... when one of the other mums said it for me... it was so funny...

It also got me thinking if I should start offering cash to my hubby...

If you haven't visited my post "Horny Little Devil Prize Pack"  please do and Vote 5... hopefully I will win a more fun way to entice him... and save my cash!

Whataheart: I wouldn't have guessed you'd get as much goss as the adult party planners, I guess it goes to show, get a group of women in one place and the gossip is going to flow!

ExMember148 replied:

Thanks Girls,

On a crap day like today, when I feel like everything is getting me down, I can rely on you girls to make me smile again.
