I was just wandering if anyone has had any luck
sending perfumes via Australia Post and if you have,
how did you manage to do it?
Is there a way of getting around it?

If you look in Tool of the week, Richard has made a "special" post.
hehe I think it was along the lines of DONT SAY WHATS IN THE PACKAGE
I guess its up to you or jump through hoops and do it by the Australia Post Book

Hi
Being a perfume seller of FM when my orders come from Sydney, they have always come pretty quickly..
The perfumes are well packed in the bubble wrap to avoid breakage...
Of course this will protect them..
I have never had any problems that way...
They are sent via express post, as that can be tracked...

I occasionally send Perfume by Australia Post. Two ways I do this...
a) Get it sent directly from Le Reve office, we have a small cost of $6.00 for freight so it is sent directly to the persons door.
b) Pack it up with lots of packaging and pop it in a bubble bag. I dont disclose what I send through the post because they will not send it.
Most of the time, I get it sent directly from Le Reve.
I havent had any problems with what I have had sent from here.

So...from what i gather, pack it well so it is not obvious
and don't disclose what is inside??
I'll try....

Just thought I might clarify...
My experience has only been with samples, and I now know how to get around it.
Full size I have not yet sent out myself, only personal delivery.
Though I am sure "Jola" sends everything out through Head office, that I need posting, if I can't do it myself.. at the normal delivery charge..
Cheeeeeeeeeeers

I have posted Perfume through Australia Post and had no worries. The girls at my local outlet are absolutely fantastic. They have said when posting perfume I need to let them know so that it goes by road rather than air. Something to do with the perfume being flammable.
Not sure if this has helped you in any way.
