Hello all,
I have to first say that approaching strangers in Brisbane was
sheer heaven, absolutely everyone was very accepting, welcoming
and responsive. Totally different to Melbourne as we have touched on
this subject before about Melbournians being less responsive as
even Snazza confirmed with her research.

Anyway, I took my team member out every day to talk to people
and to show her basically how easy it was and how she can still
do it even after I had gone.

The first rule is do not prejudge and always smile.
Aim for a certain number of contacts for the day and do not go home until you
have got as many as you set out to get.

In Melbourne my aim is 3 a day and in Brisbane my aim for Maree was
5 a day. Then your job is done and you can have a coffee and go home.

Casually walk up to the person and introduce yourself.
Hi My name is Esther from... I would love for you to try our highest quality
products that are made in Germany, which i know you will absolutely love.
I would like to take down your details and call you to organise a convenient time to
bring my products for you to try and feel. If you like you may invite a few friends
to try the products also.
Always stay enthusiastic, passionate and keep smiling.
People will notice these things in your voice and your expression.

There is no secret and no right or wrong way.
Do it a few times and it becomes second nature.
Always carry your business cards and a pen and notepad to get
their details.
At the supermarket, service station, school, bank, shoe store, clothing store,
garden nursery, nurse, receptionist, telemarketers, coffee shops, restaurants,
parks, absolutely everywhere at all times.
It gets easier and easier every time.

Maybe not everyone will say yes to you, but it doesn't matter,
we don't know what problems they might be having at the time
and therefore cannot commit. Don't worry about it and most of all don't dwell!!!
Move on to the next and keep going.

I don't know if this is any help.
There are no secrets in this business.
It is all trial and error and you need to find what works for you.
What works for someone else might not necessarily work for you.
My Business has my identity that goes along with it.
I have nurtured it and watched it grow with my mistakes and
accomplishments.
Your Business is your seed, you decide how much food and
water and sunlight you will give to it every day.
It will either flourish or wilt and eventually die.
It is in your hands.

thinking aaarggh "Party".  I guess its just about building up the courage to

start using this technique but i am going to give it a try you know what they

say in the movies no guts no glory haha.
