Green tea only has a very small amount of polyphenols (anti-oxidants)
Polyphenols are known to boost immunity, get rid of any free radicals,
break down any stored fat around your bodily organs so that your organs
will function better. Also can assist with weight-loss.
There was a program on today tonight last year also discussing the benefits of
polyphenols and looking at it being the wonder cure for the future.
Australia is still researching to find a product with a high polyphenol content.
Germany is way ahead of Australia and they have found the pink rockrose
(cistus incanus) herb which is grown in the mountainous region of Europe to
have the highest content of Polyphenols than any other product.
LR H&B have brought the whole world crop and they produce billions of tons
of it every year and have it in tea form and tablet form.
They were even using this product to assist with bird flu.
I'm not sure if this helps in any way,

Esther.

What Esther said.......

No seriously, the benifits of Green Tea has alot of scientific evidence behind it. I.e. It will help with your health if you start drinking it regularly. But....... Green tea is not going to make a massive difference in your life if you still eat junk and smoke and dont exercise etc etc! ( I should put and drink too much alcohol in there but would then have to take my own advice!!!!)

Another hint.... buy organic...... it is not only better for you but actually tastes ok! Some of the supermarket brands taste a bit too much like dirt. My favourite teas are Elmstock teas. i order off the net but I think they are in some stores now.... All their herbals are DELICIOUS..... Especially the Ginger and Lemmon Grass tea which is soooooo yummy with a good fat paice of carrot cake!........ But then that would be killing the health kick!!!

Sorry for rambling
