Just curious to know how many of us get asked if we have a "real job". And how you respond to the question.
I like this question at a party, because it gives me an opening to share how wonderful partyplan is and how great the company is.
I respond by saying that party plan IS a real job, with hours to suit me & my family, no boss breathing down my neck, and because I'm a SaucyFish consultant I have NO pressure from head office to do any more than what I want to do. It can't get much better than this.I think I'm the lucky one, as I can work when & where I want. Who would like a job like mine?
You can get quite a few leads from this one question.
Isn't partyplan wonderful!

Hi Melinda,
Great topic!
I get people asking me alllllllll the time.
I just laugh when they say " Is there money?"
Then I get my business magazine which shows our sales per month and our bonus cheques per month and I say. " See if you can spot me"
I get all sorts of different reactions, but it does open up peoples eyes to what I am doing.
As long as they know it is a career for me and not a hobby I think i have then educated them well.
I have found a lot of people winge about working fulltime, hate their job, etc, but have found that party plan is not for everyone.
When I told my parents and family I was doing party plan they laughed at me.!
Cheers

Hi Girls and Guys,
The so called "Real Job" means the following to me -
1) daycare fees costing half of your weekly income (if not more)
2) a job with hours in school time (not easy to come by)
3) set hours every week (miss out on special events etc..)
Party Plan and home based businesses are REAL JOBS especially if you have children.
Party Plans/Home Based Businesses =
1) freedom to set own hours
2) earn as little or as much as you want
3) be able to go to school functions, sports, play groups etc..
4) enjoy your time with your family whenever you choose
Well, that sums it up for me.
Cheers
Janine
