I just wanted to warn everyone about this party plan Diva Jewellery before anyone else gets scammed as well.
This party plan is run by a lady called Anne but she also sends emails in the name of Michelle, Monique, Ness and Billy.
Three of us joined this party plan thinking it looked great. Anne sent us catalogues and all the info to join. She was offering great rewards and incentives and even cars!!!! Told me that there were 90 consultants, 35 of those sales managers with cars and 8 of those executives. Now I look at it, I really should have looked at it properly.
I put the money for the kit ($499) into her account, and waited for my kit. She told us we could put the products on ebay, which was alot of Äs seen on TV"products and that once we had paid her for the products minus our commission she would send the products straight to the customer. I sold $1100 worth of the products on ebay in just over a week, the other two sold more than me. Luckily I only paid her $300 for the first lot I sold, as we then did'nt hear from her for a week and we all started to get worried. The other two paid her over $1000 each. After a week and a half I emailed her threatening police action - next day I got an email from "Monique"(who we now know was Anne and shes admitted to it) saying that Anne had been in hospital with breast cancer. Of course I felt awful as I wrote a couple of emails threatening police action. This Monique persuaded me to stay on and that she would send me a kit. By this stage the other two were getting threatened with police action from buyers off ebay. Straight away I actually got my $300 back. I had already paid all the money back to the buyers as I did'nt want them to have to wait any longer for their products.
Anyway to cut a long story short - I still don't have my money back for my kit and the other two still don't have any of their money back. Anne has told us all a lot of lies, telling one consultant that she had already paid me back and the money was in my account, then today telling me that paypal had put all the money owing to all of us into one of the consultants accounts. Of course when I emailed this consultant she has received nothing.
Sorry to be long winded but I don't want anyone else to go through what us 3 have been through - as it was I'd borrowed the money off my sister to join, so now I owe her that money. One of the consultants has already reported her to the police and I will be doing the same on monday. I have put this off as one if feel like a complete idiot for falling for it, I should have checked it out properly, but Änne"seemed so genuine!!! Two my hubby is a police officer and I also feel like an idiot going down to the police station and saying I put money in this persons account!!! Two of us have reported her to the Office of Fair Trading, I have heard nothing back and the other one they told her there was nothing they could do as she wants her money back.
Even since she has admitted everything to us, she has put more products on her website, and still has her diva jewellery website up where people can purchase a kit.

My heart goes out to you and to anyone else caught up in this scam. I still dont understand how these sorts of people sleep at night. I hope you resolve this serious problem soon, you poor thing.

Oh Dear!!! That makes me so mad too People like that make it so hard for the genuine people. You poor thing. Don't get mad, get even. Go to the police, don't let her scam any other fantastic, smart, caring peson like yourself!!! Also, don't let it scare you off party plan, most of us are nice and genuine too. And it really doesn't always matter about the 'size' of the company..... as I have said before, small fish are sweet.
PS: I had previously had a browse of that direct tv site........mmmmmmm

I really dont understand how people can rip others off like that. They dont have a decent bone in there own body.

Sorry to hear that Jennie. I feel really sorry for you!
We did post warnings about this person (aka AdultToys for the long time members)
and she was banned from this site several times under various username for attempting to recruit people to her dodgy scams.
Keep us informed with any progress!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I am going to phone the Federal Police on Monday as my hubby and a friend of his who is also a police officer, think it will be hard getting anywhere if I put in a police report here in WA, when she is in NSW. They also think it could be a civil matter which would mean I would probably spend more money in court than what I've actually lost!!!!!

It is sad to hear that people out there can be so fraudulant. I guess you really have to check as many places as you can to be sure the company you choose is 100% ligitimate. I am sure that out there, there are a lot more people who have been effected by something similar and unfortunatley we all become so weary of all the good companies because of these people.
I am glad that I chose Voodoo and am very happy to put my name with theirs.
Good Luck with whatever you choose to do in your future (hopefully you can trust enough to start with a great company)

Check this out, this is what I just got back from her when I said she was'nt a very christian person as I know she is heavily into the church!!!!
Excuse me, i am a catholic, catholics are forgiven when money is involved
and when the person relies and feels sorry for the sins, i am a catholic and
god has forgiven me, but as for you....?????
What a joke!!!! There is just no point in trying to reason with someone like this.

That's so horrible!!!! Don't beat yourself up too much about it, you were trusting and didn't know, put it down to experience. We all have to learn the hard way sometimes. There are quite a few of us here that were scammed by another member also (not out of as much though), and while you like to think the best of people, there are those out there, just out to take what isn't theirs and lie until they turn blue....Very sad these people are, Karma will come back to them eventually. Good luck with your battle.....

I don't know what God she's talking about, but it isn't the Catholic one. If she is a christian, she should remember the commandments - one of which says "thou shalt not steal". Maybe her God allows her to overlook what isn't convenient.
It's a good thing that you have put it in police hands. What about going to A Current Affair and expose her nationally so others can avoid her.

I have today finished her lengthy file and have put it in with the Computer Crimes Squad.

Anne has started up another party plan business, which is called Pasni Cosmetics. She is now a PAID member of a business site, which I have informed them of her dealings.
Please watch out for dodgy companies....if they don't sound or look good, then 9 times outta 10...there NOT!

That's an absolute cracker. God forgives whatever I do if I pretend I'm sorry. Honey, God's no fool. He's knows you lie. Also the now I've justified me I will turn on you to stop the argument is classic.
I'm glad reports have been filed. I'm sorry you lost through this. People in bigger businesses that you get had with con artists. That's why they are called artists I guess. But you can work it for good by spreading the word. I hope good comes to you all through other means.

I believe this same lady joined my business at the end of May (although has not done very much since then). Contact in the last few weeks, we understand from Anne's daughter that she is sick.
I believe it is the same lady Anne, email address of dolphinjewellery@.... amongst others.
I would love to know more precisely what she is "accused" of doing, so can watch out for ourselves, as this is definitely the same lady. Can PM her surname if you have info...

Her son Mick contacted us a while back and asked us to remove references to her name and the post mentioning "karma will get her". (He googled her name - our site and that post was the only result or something). While I did not remove the posts, I did remove her full name.
BTW... she was hit by a car and has been on life support since or something
