  So sorry to hear you were down this weekend.  I get like that sometimes too, so I manage to set time just for me, even if its having a drink in the garden while reading a magazine or book.  The kids and the husband know not to invade that time LOL.  Otherwise they have a cranky mummy. lol.

I choose a time on the weekend too, to ring customers or book more parties/consultations/business meetings depending on what is required.  This can be a very productive time to set diary dates and schedules for you and your family.

Well, so did I , have no parties .  I loved every minute of it!!!  Though I love every minute of doing my parties as well.  A friend said to me the other day, they are your social life aren't they.  And yeah, in a way, my parties are lots of fun and social.  Though I have a busy calendar ahead, so I know this is the calm before the storm!!!  Enjoy it.

I know what you mean, I had 3 parties all move or cancell - i was getting down about it as this is my main income but my hubby said "when do we get a full weekend together?" so i had a family weekend and feel so much better for it - i got rid of the " i neglected the kids " feeling.

I have been really depressed lately.  Mainly because I had two months off during the school holidays only to find out that I had qualified as Manager and now I only have one month to do my normal 3 month sales!!  SO I was so keyed up for my first party which rescheduled.  That was ok.  Then it rebooked again.  I got off the phone and burst into tears.  Not only did it make reaching my goal harder but it meant another day I would get time out doing what I love.  It was weird because the hostess ended up cancelling altogther and I sort of felt relieved knowing at least she wouldn't postpone again.  Who knows if I will make my goal but I certainly don't want to feel so down again.

Yea, talk about withdrawals... I have given up my party plan ventures so I can focuss on this site.  I really miss the interaction with others and the selling of products.

But then....I will read and enjoy all your stories instead!

Hey send some of that vodka down to Melbourne Kath. Oh, I'm not depressed, i gave up beeing depressed years ago. I just like VODKA. When I use to do parties, when we first started the business if i had a party pospone i use to get on the phone to my friends and invite them over for a mystery hostess party. They all loved it, and it kept me going...

Yes Cheryl you are so right.  Any excuse for a party !!  It's spring, love is in the air.  November - Melbourne Cup etc.  Invite all ex hostess's and friends and use incentives for them to bring someone you have never met before.  Then more incentives to book at your 'mystery hostess' party !!!  Maybe we could get together over a bottle of Vodka Cheryl?? lol

In fact Kath why don't you bring down a bottle and join us??? Ah...just had a thought...Why don't we feed the Vodka to all the Hostess's, they will all have a buzzing good time and book lots of shows...
