It has recently come to our attention that some of our members have been dealing with another forum user called "busy mum of 2".

Members should be aware that the "busy mum of 2" and "ucw_mel" are  in fact the same person.

Yesterday i was contacted by Mel Martin in reference to the money she owes me. I was given yet another excuse but as we have contacted the police, hopefully she will now do as she has promised.

The interesting part of the correspondance was that she asked WHO were the other people that she owes money to. This comment amazed me as she should have all details of payments.

My suggestion would be for those who attended the police station with me to AGAIN contact Mel stating what she owes you and for those of you who are yet to make a complaint, i recommend you do so at the same time as recontacting Mel.

You probably won't bump into her as an UCW consultant but the problem is whatever she starts up in the future (she's talked abut becoming a Craft Kids Consultant, opening a shop with kids products etc) .....People like this just go from one thing to another burning people along the way.....What I can't believe is that after the huge amount of people that she owes money and products to, she's still openly advirtising herself and is adament that she will plan another Expo at the end of the year!!!  Who in the world would trust her again??  She has always maintained that she only owes money to one or two people, if any.  Well I can name many more than two people!  Either she is fooling herself as to how much trouble she is in or is completely clueless.

But there are always going to be people like this around....I've just learnt my lesson to NEVER pay anyone cash like that again....and Never to deal with people I haven't met face to face.    Very sad it had to come to this.

Well still no payment here...And I got email from another 2 consultants today stating that they are also waiting for their money too....  Would be interesting to find out just how many people are out there that need refunds......

I will email them and ask whether they mind me naming them, but they are a Tupperware consultant, and a Party Lite consultant and the one I hard from the other day was a Crafty Kids consultant.....  Surely you have their names somewhere.....So when should we expect our refunds?

i will notify you of that once i have finished talking to the officer that you spoke with.... (as there is no formal complaint, as one cant be done without evidence of your so called fraud claim)  i am talking to him in regards to everything that is being said on here.... so once this is done you will hear from him in regards to your refunds...

as i have a clear criminal history and i have all paperwork there is NO claim to be made.

What do you mean, when you are finished talking to the officer...about things being said on here?  You owe people money and need to repay it, simple as that, that is all that is being said.  I will be talking to him again today, as I really believe that you are just putting us off again, plus I need to inform him of the  other people who have contacted me. 

Mel, just start repaying the money and we will all be happy.  I can't see the problem?  Assuming you have spent the money, why don't you start by re paying one person a week or fortnight, at least then, we know you are serious about paying people back and not just hopeing we will all forget about it.

i have paid back all involved expcept those i didnt have details for (2 of which i do now) the only ones i havent as yet are you, amanda and lyn (the 3 who complained) havent done it as yet due to all the crap you are carrying on with on here... the more you go, the longer i will hold on.

i have all your details, i just want to get bitchy with you like you all seem to have been with me for no reason, I have never had any emails from you guys, only whinging and bitching on here.... yeah i have heard from you once with details and amanda once with details but other than that you just get on here starting shit that doesnt need to be started...

Mel, I'm not getting nasty, I'm trying to help you find a solution to your problem.  I think you are the one getting defensive...Anyway, it is not, just the three of us who you owe, you also owe Kay from Crafty Kids and Karen from Partylite and her friend who she didn't tell me her name, who's from Tupperware.  I've just emailed these people and told them to re contact you in regards to their refunds.

I never attacked whether you are successful or not, or needed the money, that is none of my business, (but there again you've lied as you mentioned before you have just moved in with your mother in law) but I'm assuming since you aren't able to pay it back then you must not have it, otherwise wouldn't you rather finish this whole thing than be hasseled by the police and soon the Dept of Fair trading?  None of us are getting bitchy, we are just trying to help you find a solution so that we can all move on and stop wasting time on this thing.  We have taken this further as we don't believe we should ignore it.  Not to be bitchy.

hey there trish,

i havent forgotten about you! i also knew about karen, but never had any details for her as i didnt get a registration form for her, so if you could get her to email me that would be good... as for tupperware, i never got payment from anyone from tuppaware.

i have a list of about 32 consultants, but only ever approx 8 paid.... (this was another reason the vent was cancelled as the payments werent received by the cut off date)

in regards to moving, yes we were at mother in laws until our house settlement came through about 3 weeks ago, but that was only for about a month and a half.

i am not trying to attack anyone, i am just getting cranky that everything has to be said via this site and not one person is willing to contact me via email (which is what i asked originally).

EVERY SINGLE person who registered should have my name phone number and email address and no one has bothered to call or email me personally to organise this, or to "complain" so to speak...and this is what is annoying me....

anyway, i will get it to you today (transfer) so you should have it monday.... i am so over party plan, i will not be joining crafty kids or anything again.

I understand you not wanting this kind of thing on a public forum but i do think it is in everyones best interest to know what some people are like.

1. Money owing

2. Money was to be refunded

3. Details were sent (both via email and pm's and i dont understand why one is favoured over the other)

4. Because of perceived bitchiness money has not been refunded as promised

5. Nastiness has no place in business.

If you have a committment (in this case to refund money) then it should be done regardless of personal issues.

Again Mr PP i apologise as i also hate this crap but when a person is planning further business dealings and has not been trustworthy with former dealings then the public needs to know about it.

Yes Mel most is referring to you but it happens with others as well and we all need to know what is going on.
