Launch new business invites

Here is the text of an email one of the girls on my team used when she started a couple of weeks ago:

 

" I have started a new side business which deals in delicous cards and papoer (right up my alley). So please join me for a glass of bubbles and view my range of greeting cards, wrapping paper, tags, invitations, thank you cards and more.

 

Date: Wednesday 13th August
Time: 8pm - 10pm (please come earlier if you like)

Place: [her address]

 

Or if more convenient:

 

Date: Thursday 14th August
Time: 10am - 12pm

Place: [her address]

 

RSVP: 6th August
e: [her email address] or 0414 732 XXX"

 

Make sure you call everyone too. A personal call is MUCH more powerful than a group email. Tell them to bring a friend. And remind everyone a couple of days beforehand!
