Discussions : Goals and ambitions : Heading to Management?

Hi all,
I have set myself two mager goals for this year
1. To be debt free by december. I have broken this into smaller goals as well. eg to pay off loan to in laws first, then credit card, then loan and finally the Car. I also set up a sheet which Shows me how many parties i have to do and what i need my average parties to be.
This was easier than i thought i only need to do 2 parties with an average of 600 per party.
2. To get to management. This was not a goal of mine at first but then i had a magor push when i spoke to my husband. He told me that i coulndt accopmlish that. So now I have to do it. To acheive this all I need is four recruits. So if their is any one out their in the Wagga Wagga area or surrounding areas that would like y to earn a little or even a lot of extra money please help me prove hime wrong.

HI Leonie,
I am so sorry to hear that your husband is not supportive. I am glad to hear that you are going to prove him wrong and you will.
Start off with the small goal of finding your first recruit. Tell yourself I will find one person in the next 2 weeks. Once you have your first please let us know and then we will set you another goal.
Just remember that you need to do something everyday in your business. If you want this goal, think it, work it and plan it and it should happen.
All the best
cheers

Hi Leonie,
How have the last 4 days been. Have you had any parties or anyone interested in the business.
It is good that your husband is supportive around the house and with the children. This will make your job so much easier.
Goodluck and keep us posted
cheers

The last four days have been fairly good i have had three parties and got 2 Bookings from each which was good. The only problem with the last four days was Tuesday when a lady cancelled a party with only about an hours notice. This lady had been moving her party around since last october so i am not surprised that she didnt go ahead. Oh well these things happen in our business. On the up side about ten minutes later i got a booking anyway.

Leonie-GOOD LUCK!!!
I am approaching 7 years in Tupperware, and only in the last month have i started recruited! WOOHOO-it was not something i was looking at before, and i am sure our Distrubutor and all around are quite surprised, even my friends, that i would be looking at my business along those lines after all this time.
So far, i have 2 great girls and looking for at least another 2 before i can go out as manager-but i don't want to stop there! You know yourself, the rewards just for sales challenges and the like, we really do get some great perks, but the Recruiting Incentives and Rewards are really turning me on!
You can do it-of course you know that, and slowly but surely, your hubby will see it happening for you and sometimes that is what they want-a little evidence before they too can "believe" it!

Good luck to you both!
After 4 years with Le Reve I finally made the same decision. For me missing significant events in my childrens lives was the catalyst. After all who wouldn't want the free car they are offering? Who would n't want the 2 free holidays a year in Le Reve's case that are on offer? I can picture myself now laying back with a cocktail in hand sailing around Asia aboard the Superstar Virgo for 10 days!
My former teaching colleagues were the ones who didn't think I couldn't make a living this way... Little did they realise that I make more in 3 parties than they do in a week!

There seems to be a common theme here! I too have been with my PP for 4 years and even though I have always wanted to head in the leader direction I have only recently been really focusing on it and am very close to promoting out as a Unit Leader (possibly by 1st April!) I too am very excited to be going to Tahiti with my husband at the end of May - all for FREE! Working towards leadership has helped me achieve this. I just wish I had done it sooner rather than later. For anyone who is thinking about it - I say go for it now!! What have you got to lose!!
