Hi All,
Just wanted to know how much was too much with regards to the stock you take to parties?
I currently run my own Party Plan business selling my own home and bed linen. Obviously this would include cushions... and a lot of them! I am currently using vaccuum bags to reduce space taken up in the car, but for the moment it is working out fine for me.... but as my range grows I am concnerned with what I should and should not take.
For what I don't take, how do I keep sales up? Pics? Swatches?
I am making an average of $1200 per party so I think it's working, but I want to make sure it too is easy for my team of consutlants as the team is growing also.... and i want to make sure it runs smoothly for them.
So far my hosts love how it is all set up. I pretty much take over the whole lounge with throws, cushions and blankets, with a little corner set up forthe children's stuff. But of course sooner or later I will have to reduce what I take a bit.
What would you do?
Any advice or opionins would be great.
Thanks
Nikki

With something can you just tale a pillow case or cushion cover to show patten and color. Also if i was having a party with products like your's would expect you not to have every thing.Maybe change from party to party sure you will get more help.

Sounds like you are doing a fantastic job already, great sales.....Congratulations.
I would set up your most attractive items in full, followed by large swatches in the colours available.
Dont O.D some homes can be tiny and lacking space.Im sure though 1 of everything is more than enough. You probably have the ability to transform their whole lounge-room into a welcoming haven....thats incentive!
I also OD on products but am finally calming down and paying attention to what sells best.Phew no more carting "less sellers"
Guaranteed though, the moment I remove it everyone wants itSo I keep things in stock!
