It surprises me that they have called you after you have said you are not interested.

Fiona, I am sorry that you to have had a bad experience with them.

I have had nothing but good support from them since joining them a few weeks ago.

Yes I am with Melaleuca, but I am not contacting anyone from this site or anyother site trying to get them to join.  If anyone on this site wants to know anything about Melaleuca I am sure they will ask me.

I find it hard to believe that anyone at the DSA would be handing out phone numbers, it would have to be a breach of confidentiality. Maybe in order to stop this woman some of you who are getting these phones calls may need to report her to the DSA. There are rules that we as party planners are supposed to follow.. and hey guess what many of them are set by the DSA! Just maybe reporting this particular woman would make a difference!

You are being harassed by cold callers, there are laws against this as well... think do Not Call register!

Do any of you have caller ID on your phones, maybe you could get her umber and start dealing with people who can stop her from doing this to others and giving not just this party plan a bad name, but all party plan companies!

I am with Melaleuca as well, I joined under sharon a few weeks ago, and there is no way that I would call someone from this site to get them to join.  I wouldnt appreciate it if someone did it to me so there is no way I would do it to anyone else.  I agree with Sharon if someone is interested in joining I am happy to speak to them about it but i'm not going to cold call anyone to get them to try and join.

I also found it hard to believe that the DSA would give out names and numbers as well. Sounds very strange to me. The call came in on my mobile and showed up as an anonymous number so that doesn't help with the number either.

I am definately ringing the number that Fiona passed on latere this morning. I have one persons name, Kathy, and as the other had a Canadian accent as well she shouldn't be too hard to track down. I don't think there would be that many Canadians doing Melaleuca who live in QLD. Hopefully by ringing their HO and reporting them it may stop them from ringing others.

Thanks for the info Fiona. I spoke to a lovelly lady from the Malelueca HO this morning and she is going to chase this up for me.

If you receive calls like this, try encouraging them by telling them you are interested however not a good time to talk, busy/mobile going flat etc etc but if they can give name and number you can call back at a better time for yourself when you have time to ask all the questions you have. Good chance they will give you a name and contact number and then you can report them to head office. I have done this with a company in the past and reported the caller not only to their head office and also threatened head office with reporting the company as I was on the do not call register. Haven't heard from this mob since and for a while I was getting calls every week. Sometimes just gotta play their games better than they do to get even

I agree with Horny Devil with one exception.
Since they are cold calling you ...they obviously aren't doing as well as they would like or expect. Most of us here are too busy to be calling anyone except customers and hostesses. They must have a bit of go in them as well to be actively 'working' their business. (how many signups do nothing no matter how much you try and help them)

Also US/Canadian members are often taught by their upline to do these tactics
I would sound them out a bit before going for the kill and reporting them.
