Discussions : Questions and answers : What has your PP enabled you to achieve??

The question may not be worded correctly but I was basically wondering what you have been able to achieve in your life due to the money/flexibility etc of the party plan life????
For example;
We have been able to buy a house thanks to my tupperware earnings. It has allowed us to save 100% of my wage from my part time job in a dental office, which means for once in our lives we actually have had savings AND as i said before, have been able to buy a house courtesy of the savings!
I love the fact the PP has enabled us to do that!
I'm just interested in hearing everyone elses stories..... Has doing a PP changed anything for you???

Once I got of my butt and did something then yes I def seen a difference- with these itnerest rates- we are keeping up with payments and I dont have to go back to work
So I guess my achievements are:
being able to stay at home with my son
Run my own business
Opened the doors for a new business
Met lots of great people
And growing as a person being able to all these things!!
Its amazing what can be achieved really isnt it!!!!

Hi Thats great you have been able to buy a house.
Mine is being able to stay home with my 4 children and able to let them play whatever sports they want. he 2 older each do 2 sports and my 3rd one does 1 sport. Also I pay for Christmas out of my earnings so I am able to pretty much give them what they want for Xmas and not have to worry about where the money is coming from.
Having 4 children can be expensive but great!!!

Wow everyone has done well out of their PP!
Its so good to see!
Being able to be home with the kids is definately a great part of PP... Not to mention funding all the extra activities as has been mentioned already

I too am like you Cindy.
I joined my company to build the house of our dreams on an acre and a half (we didn't want a small block). So initially, I started pp to get the money I wanted which was $10000 and I achived it in 7 months.
We have now built our house and have been in it for 8 months and I am still with the same company and totally addicted.
I am still earning great money which now helps us achieve what needs doing around our large block and a brand new home....sometimes far too much!!!!
Party Plan is certainly a fantastic option!!!

I love hearing these stories and the achievements of so many of you.
I definitely love working in the PP industry and it has allowed us to just purchase the extra things we would not otherwise be able to afford, TV's, motorbikes for the boys, etc.
I'm due to have another baby in January, so hopefully our PP business will be generating some passive income by then, that will allow me to stay at home for approx 6-12 months and just work on the business from home!
Gotta love PP!!

UnderCover Wear has given me a lot of things. It has given me financial freedom, sanity, fun and lots of great friends. I thinks that out of that list that the thing at the bottem of that is the financial gain i think it is just an added bonus.

Hey there,
I love it how PP has enabled so many to achieve their dreams - that's great.
For me I've found the biggest difference is to have the flexibility with family and work. We've had some illness and passings in the family in the last few years and being able to look after loved family members when they have needed it and not to worry about office hours etc has been the best thing. I wouldn't have been able to do any of that with my old corporate life.
Certainly school holidays are easier as too travel with work.
The financial side is fine, I probably just value more the family benefits I've had in the last few years from it.
All the best,
Belinda

My response will be a little different.
While Party Plan (UCW then Princess House) has benefited our family financially it is second to what it has done for me healthwise.
I was an UCW consultant many years ago and gave it away when my first marriage went haywire (he got the car and I got the kids - still think to this day he got a bum deal).
Because of the nastiness of the split and divorce and numerous other things happening in our family around that time I became agoraphobic - I couldn't even check the mail - my sister came to live with us and took the kids to school and did the shopping etc. Then, somehow I got the nerve to go back to Uni and met Fraser in a coffee shop there - still not comfortable with being outside of my home though.
Fraser and I were shopping one day and saw a UCW car - I hadn't bought the gear since I left, so I put a note on the window, got a phone call and it was my old manager. I talked to Fraser and was at that stage in an in between moment with the agoraphobia and asked my manager if I could come back. Welcomed with such love and open arms helped. I couldn't let Kay down, so in even my most dreadful times, if I had a party I sucked it up and did that party. Now I can walk into a room of 1000+ people and at times even get up and speak. Never, 5 years ago did I think I would ever be able to acheive this.
So money , yes very good but the confidence and the ability to walk into a crowd without throwing up or fainting is a little more important to me than any amount of money.
Party Plan has given me FREEDOM!!!

Lot's of great stories and most of them are true for me too - great friendships, filling my house with wonderful products, etc. I was also able to take my husband on a trip to Tahiti last year - all paid for by PartyLite!! Incentive trips are great and an important part of the pp business. It's like the company rewarding you for doing a great job. We never would have been able to go otherwise, and it was a magical experience I could share with him. How many other "normal" companies offer their employees the chance at a free holiday every year just for doing their job??
