With the spam emails coming from the directory, tonight I had a call. This lady with a accent asked me if I was interested in joining her PP company. I asked her where she got my details from and after much probbing mentioned the website. Maybe we could have a disclaimer letting potential poacher know that it is not wanted, because that is the feeling I have towards this solicitation and that I am picking up off other members too.
I can't explain why but I felt angry - does she not know this is very rude! I was polite and told her I was not interested and she kept asking me 'why?'
My other thought was that as I have called ID, therefore her number I am sure YOU my fellow PP'ers are looking for a new recruit and I will be more than happy to pass on this lovely ladies number for you to contact her..... she should recieve quite a few offers.

If anyone knows of Cathy maybe they could advise her to only call people if they request information. It makes her look very desperate if she is calling people like that.
Maybe I should get that number off you and call her back to recruit her for my PP.

I posted a warning in general to let everyone know
but it has been deleted!!
I suggest that if anyone IS interested in the stuff she is selling that you contact a member here that is already part of that PP and doing it the RIGHT way.
eg.using Shameless to promote!!

It was a lady out penrith way her number starts with 47. She is with FM fragrances.
I really think maybe a disclaimer that lets these people know that there solicitation is not welcome and actually detrimental to how we percieve their businesses.
The directory I believe is for interested people wanting to contact us for the business we have listed, not to promote me for a recruit to theirs.

Hi ladies
I'm really sorry to hear what happen to all of you. I think that it is quite rude.
I'm with FM group so If it happens to anyone again can you please try and catch a name or something so I can complain to the head office.
It brings the company and other consultants down.
Even I feel embarresed as I am representing the company!!!

And I don't think she understands the pp poachers aren't taken to quite well here. Really turned off the whole company.
She bagged out the company I am PP for and why her FM fragrances where better.
As we all know commission is not everything in our choice of PP.
Anyway I am enjoying my change of career and love hanging out Ummmm, I mean networking with all of you.
