My sincerest apologies to anyone who feels that my email this morning was SPAM. As a business owner I am only too aware of how much spam we all get however I don't feel that the email I sent was spam at all. It was not asking anyone for money or i.d or any other useless information - it was purely offering a promotion opportunity for your business.
I am a wahm whose passion is helping others work from home. My aim is to bring as many affordable and low cost opportunities for promotion, to home based businesses, as possible.
My email this morning was sent to approximately 12 party planners from this forum. Each company was chosen as a company that has products that I felt would benefit from FREE exposure via our Blue Zamboo Sample Boxes.
Whilst I have received an overwhelming response to our service from other online businesses, it now appears that party planners are not as receptive to promoting their business. I apologise to those who chose to send me colourful messages - I had no idea you would object so much to an opportunity to further your business.
It goes without saying that I will not contact anyone from this point onwards and to those that have received my email, please now disregard it.
It is very sad that our society now considers every email they receive as SPAM.

What is SPAM?
"E-mail spam, also known as unsolicited bulk email (UBE) or unsolicited commercial email (UCE), is the practice of sending unwanted e-mail messages, frequently with commercial content, in large quantities to an indiscriminate set of recipients."

Due to the recenct amount of emails recieved from people using this site I am NOT impressed and sad that you feel that you were doing me a favour???? I too am a member here and should I want to learn more about promoting my business through you or any other, Perhaps you might try using the site for that which it is designed!
Promote what you offer to ALL members via the forum!! Please keep the person emails to exactly that. As I do not personally know you and you seem to have no intrest in my PP I would expect common courtesy!!
( personally I prefer to use a company that understands how annoying solicitation can be)

hi if that was the case that you were informing all of us about a promontion oppurtunity i would of prefered for you to type that in shameless, or even question and answers about who was actually interested in your promontion or wrote , "i have picked out companies i think would benefit."
the way it was done was more like bombard people with the same email they have no idea about, then they get defensive about you having their email address.
You never know what nasty viruses can come through so the minute people saw it was someone they didnt know they delete, so not good advertising for you.

Also, if you are going to do mass emails (and this goes for everyone!) use "bcc" so all your mailing list doesn't end up being used for not so nice spam etc....

I agree with what is said here. I received one not from you. But if i wanted to know about this product i would contact that person myself.

Hello all I know the business very well that sent the email and I have to say that if you consider it spam omg!
Cause in my other business this company is the reason why I got my business in Womens Day & on ABC radio!
if you don't want to be part of something that could bring you protenial recruit leads and a great way to promote your business well I have no idea what you are doing in the field you are in.
If you don't wanna promote yourself well I have no idea where you will go plus this actual sample box is free to be included! So whats the harm! what have you got to lose ! I love ya Kathie!

It is spam by definition. Unsolicited emails to mutiple people. I put it up there with viagra and penis enlarging emails.
As said before she could have just posted in shameless advertising.
She has apologised so I for one accept that and will move on. Obviously everyone has different views on what spam is or isnt.

Renegade marketing is not a way to build a business!!
