I have done quite a few fundraisers but they are really hit and miss I have found. I have done stalls at fundraising events where I have given a donation plus a percentage of sales which has been ok...but I did one playgroup fundraiser last year where there were lots of PP's and everyone had to pay $20 per stall for the night but the organiser obviously wasn't very organised at all and only 3 people came! So we all still had to pay our $20 so they still made money but it totally sucked for all the stallholders.
Probably the best fundraisers I have done is where an organisation chooses to do a fundraiser and then a person holds a party at their house with the hostess rewards then being raffled off (or you can give them cash)...this way the sales are usually still good coz you get to still do you speil and show products to people.

Did you know that if all households in Australia used Tri Nature products
NO children would go to hospital with household poisonings?

Thanks for the suggestions so far. In addition to WHO, can anyone help with HOW to go about it. As Sachels mentioned in her original post - who do you contact etc. From my point of view also,
How do you structure the fundraising- do they get a % of sales, cash back, products, other ideas???????? Thanks in advance
kathymollie replied:
Hi Kath,
I would structure the letter to the fundraising co ordinator or secretary of the club.
When l do fundraisers l usually donate a gift of some sort- Jewellery - that they can either raffle or use for which ever purpose they like..then depending on the size of the fundraiser...(larger ones 10-15% of your profits donated)...but l do try to stipulate that that is with furture show bookings....that way members are getting profits but you are also rolling on your shows/future bookings.
There are of course many varied ways on doing it..but this is just the way l do it.
Good luck with your PP.
Cheers...Kathy
Graham replied:
Hi Kath,
Because our products are consumables (cleaning products) I usually offer a fundraising drive with one or two products (usually a choice of Laundry Powder or Laundry Liquid), giving the group a percentage of the sales.
I suggest they then join Tri Nature, chosing the Jene Skin Care option, as they can raffle that and raise more funds.
They get to the situation where their members are buying environmentally friendly cleaning products, saving money, and raising funds (25% +) for their group at the same time.
Go to my Profile, scroll down to my files & click on the "Fundraising" file to see the tri-fold brochure I made up.
