Candlelyte is All Natural Soy candle wax only, and you make all the candles yourself.  Totally enviromentally friendly, which burns cooler and therefor longer.

Partylite have beautiful candle holders and accessories, but use parrafin wax which is wax made on petoleum.

I have bought the candle holders from Partylite, as I adore the mosaic range, but I make my own candles from soy or palm wax as I find the soy candles much more economical and better lasting fragrance.

So I added Soy wax candles to my business.  I don't do party plan with candlelye but purchase my wax from them.

Most of the candle biz that you mentioned use Soy wax.

I had a Party Lite Party and they told me that they used Vegetable Wax ?  Is this untrue ?  Have I been scammed ?  Come on you Candle people, fill us in ....

Partylite uses 100% Quality Food Grade Parrafin Wax. The quality control checks done by the scientists at Partylite are very stringent and no product would be released if they were harmful to the environment.  

From my understanding and after google searching, this is the same wax which is used for creating the shiny coating in candy-making, the coating for many types of hard cheeses such as Edam, it is also used as a chewing gum additive and is used in many moisturisers, toiletries and cosmetics such as vaseline.

Partylite candles are also environmentally friendly, they contain no metallic elements and the wicks are made of bleached cotton.

I feel very comfortable burning a Partylite candle knowing that it is used in products you can eat (gum and lollies) and also smear all over your face. They also smell great.
