Hi everyone ! Hope you're all having a super day.
I just thought I would let you know that as this is the first forum that I have ever ever ever been on and I have only been using text messaging on my phone since October, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA of what different shorthand means in peoples messages. I am sure that there are others out there like me (Crap ! I hope I'm not the only one !). Can we use this post, to tell one another what some of the different shorthands mean.
I have worked out that BTW means By the Way and OMG means Oh my gosh/goodness/person you pray to, but there are others like JMO ?
Please leave your responses here so I can learn the lingo and not feel like a total and utter "technophobe"

It took me awile to work out what LOL means...oh and DH..what the!!!! (I asked somebody else what DH means and it is darling husband)

Don't worry, I have no idea half the time either. I'm so anal about grammar that I don't like using shorthand, not even in text messages. What a nerd, I know.........

You are not a nerd at all !!!! I am really anal about grammar and spelling too !!! I just want to know what people are saying; I don't think that I'll ever get used to using it myself.
