although i would much rather that you stayed around the boards now that you have made contact again.

i don't see why a party plan company would advise you not to use this wonderful site to gain much advice from experienced ppers! i would look at it this way - tupperware doesn't employ you, you are your own business!

there are a lot of tupperware girls here and i think that being on here, is more important even if it is only to discuss tupperware in their group, because you might just be able to use something!

That is ludicrous; surely you can be a member of this forum as long as you follow their rules and don’t mention the products you are selling for them.  Some companys need to get with the program this is the year 2008 and the internet is a great way to make friends and find valuable information as well as a great promotion tool for people in sales. 

Personally I wouldn't be leaving,  but it is your decision so BYE BYE to you taylormade and best of luck selling the plastic products for that company that we can't mention

Personally, if it was me and one of my companies (btw both are sensational about memberships to sites like this),

I would be giving them the flick, staying here and researching other party plans that don't run as a dictatorship.

Watch out or next you may be 'directed' to give hubby the flick.

What is it with some companies out there, you're not to advertise - dah more business for you means more profit for them.

Sorry, but grrrrrrrrrrrrrr this one has really got my back up.

Good luck for the future, hon, but serious give some thought to another company.

I really dont think the company you are with has the right to dictate to you what you do in your private time. And as Jazzyjools said if you are following their rules and not advertising to sell the product then what harm is being done?

On top of that though I still do not understand why companies feel the need to place these unrealistic pressures on people. At the end of the day if their product is being sold then does it really matter exactly how you get the name out there?

Sorry but for this little black duck i certainly would not be staying with a company that places that kind of restriction on me. Im an Adult and entitled to make my own decision and choices.

Thanks for coming back to say good bye - i really do hope you reconsider. We have such a wonderful network of people on here. Some great online friendships have been made and beyond. Remember you are always welcome to be a part of it.

The word from Tupperware Australia is that you can be a member of the site as long as you do not mention or advertise the Company Name.

If you want to leave cheryl, thats fine - but not necessary. Just remove all mention of Tupperware and we are then no different to friends on FaceBook with lots of relevent information.

I know under our LR contract we are not supposed to advertise/sell or promote products - so I have just been winging it until someone tells me - ah aahhh - no no, can't be doing that... waiting for someone to read my posts.  But until that happens, I will still be here, I also know that through this site I have had a couple of people approach me, so its just another avenue for me to sell my beautiful products...

It really is a shame that you have had to leave. I have only been on the site for a short time (although i registered in jan 07) but i have found that it is an invaluable tool in helping me to get great ideas for my parties. good luck with your business though i hope all goes well.

This is nuts.  How can any company stop you from chatting on a site like this.  Its such a good way to get ideas and to meet and chat to other people who are in the same business.  Great Networking I think.  I cant see how a company can tell what site you can be a part of.

it's definately someone from inside the site as I have also been told to remove myself from the site, this is a bit annoying since as far as I new you were not allowed to list yourself as a consultant, which I am not in the consultant listing so since I also got the phone call on Thursday morning it must be some little so and so on this site that is dobbing people in. I would love to know who you are as you are obviously the same person who made the phone call to my house to try and find out more information.

Kylie, keep your sign in just remove yourself from the consultant listing and dont ask for parties on here. You can ask people questions and talk to people but if they want to know what you sell they will have to pm you.

I did some investigating since my phone call and have discovered that there are 6 tupperware reps that come up in the listing, my name doesn't come up so the person that is dobbing in is definately a member.

Mr PP I asure you it is not me, but if you know who it is please discontinue them from this site.

I would love to know if they actively particpate on this site and join into our social get togethers....its disappointing to know their is a mole amongst us!

I believe that Tupperware has no issue with you being in the group if you are not promoting yourself.

After reading the replies and thinking long and hard i am not doing anything wrong so why should i be pushed around.

I understand someone wanting to play police. I would have no issue with dobbing in someone doing the wrong thing myself.

I am actually someone who is pre contract so i could actually do whatever i wanted but i choose to do the right thing.

I am sad this person may actually know me as my team name is Taylormades and other than that i have given little info about myself. I also made no attempt ot hide behind another name.

Taylormade - it's great that you have decided to stay, and no are longer letting this individual have any more power over you. Remember, people usually do this type of thing because of their own low self esteem (although they would never admit that, probably not even to themselves). 

I actually feel sorry for people like her, it's surely a sad way to be, and imagine what the rest of their lives must be like.
