PS I actually use MK products and have a friend who is v happy being a rep for them, so please don't think I have it in for the company. There are some pretty bitter people on that site!

I used to be a rep for MK, products are great and I still do use some of them but I have there were just too many consultants, everyone knew of MK and either had a rep or didnt like the products so i found it hard to keep the momentum going (also had problems with my up line...not an entirely honest person there, something I found out about once i had already been taken for a bit of a ride) so needless to say I didn't stay with them.

Yes I was a Mary Kay rep,., Not sure if it is still the same but I had the Pink Case and I wore the Red Jacket to the parties...

I found it really hard and probably lasted about 6 months or so..  It was very tough to get the business going to a good level and as far as bookings were concerned I just completetly dried out and that was the reason I stopped.. I found out no matter how hard i worked it was just not working and because of that I lost the willpower.. I can only take so many knockbacks..

ps.. i do remember being really excited when i joined up.. Peter my then boyfriend was my practicing target for the facials.. i still have photos of him with the MK mask..

well, interesting website mentioned, didn't read all of it, because basically didn't need to, but there were definitely some strong, poignant and interesting points on there.  And do you know what else, I don't think it is fair to nameandshamegame MK - because quite a few of those articles on there, could be written about several partyplan/mlm companies.

I have been with MK for over a year now but I have to agree the hardest thing is everyone already having a consultant. I'm hoping buy the end of the yr I can break out into another town seen I dont live in the biggest town lol.
