This is a great night so I wanted to let you know about it. I also want to let you know that the goodie bag you get on the night is now worth $1000!
Might be worth booking a ticket or two?
When: 7.30pm Friday the 16th May 2008
Where: Ascot House, 50 Fenton Street, Ascot Vale.
Your ticket price includes: entry to the Real Mum of the Year Award Ceremony, a cocktail style party, including all food, drinks (wine & bubbles, too), tea, coffee, chocolates, dancing, a goody bag, and the perfect opportunity to get some time to yourself and catch up with friends. Most importantly your ticket price will also be supporting the Women’s Domestic Violence Crisis Service.

It does look good. I was sent this the other day and am considering going :) Might also be good for advertising (I'm thinking of their inserts in gift bag option which is quite affordable)..

Sounds like a great night out...for a very worth while cause...
Thanks bbanne for the information on it...
cheers

Wondering if anyone is going along to this event. I was interested but my son has to have an operation the day before so I thought I'd better stay home.
I would really love to know how the night goes and some of the things they did to make it a success. Thinking of ideas for pink ribbon day....
Success replied:
that looks like a great idea
MJ78 replied:
i think every state should have one of these nights! a night out for mums - wow - someone should have thought of that earlier.
i did accept this advertising offer and sent down my cards and promotion and also a free donation to there cause for womens domestic crisis. the laidies organising the event were very helpful and seemed really lovely, so i would urge those down in melbourne to attend their great mums night out.
i hope that the night goes really well for them!
bbanne replied:
I hope you get some great response to your promo, MJ78. The ladies are really nice which is why I am happy to spread the word. The aim is to have one of these nights in each state so that you can all go and kick your heels up. Every mum deserves a night off once in a while.
candlelover replied:
Did anyone attend this event last night? If so how was it? I would love to hear all about it as it was for such a worthwhile cause.
I sent along my goodies for the showbags but unfortunately wasn't able to attend.
Cris replied:
I am interested as well. I wanted to attend, but my son is doing his confirmation and had to attend one of the obligatory activity nights. I also, sent goodies for the goody bags, and am curious to how the night went.
Snazza replied:
Ditto on that one. Ariel and I also sent stuff for the goodie bags. So would love to hear how it went also.

bbanne replied:
I believe it was a huge success. I couldn't go either, much as I wanted to. I can tell that the bags are highly sought after and they are worth a fortune. The left over bags will be sold off to continue raising money. You have all done a great thing and should be proud of yourselves.
Snazza replied:
Thats great to hear it was such a success :)
So much work and effort went into it so glad it paid off :)
