I had one April Fools day gag sent by sms to my phone. Only thing was my phone was flat....so the joke was kind on them cos i didnt get it till really late that night after charging it. And well umm ok this is REALLY embaressing right....I am a Days of our Lives Fan.. LOL Yes I know terrible thing to admit in public....but my friend who is also a MAD Days fan (worse than me cos she buys soap digest all the time just to read whats going on) Anyway she sms's and says something along the lines of THATS IT I AM OVER THAT SHOW NEVER WATCHING IT AGAIN. THEY HAVE SACKED BO AND HOPE!! I AM CLINICAL!! erm for anyone that doesnt know Bo and Hope they are two of the main characters. I was half asleep and sms'd back and said oh thats no good and she came back and said took ya bloody time APRIL FOOL. LOL

Ok well i am just going to back away slowly now and get back in my corner.....I was brainwashed as a kid with DOOL on all the time... so leave me alone ok? LOL!!!

My brother got me a beauty 2 years ago

I was only 3 months or so in the business and guess what . He calls me up to tell me a client of his wants to join me in the business,. i was so excited.. He tells  me to ask for Anne Apple and gave me the number.

So i call this number and ask to speak to Anne Apple.. - no one here by that name.  " oh ok I say" thinking i dialled a wrong number.

so call again  '' can i speak to Anne Apple"  -  they say -" hang on " and they left me on the phone for 5 minutes.. yes i am waiting.... waiting and then hang up.

so call my brother again and check the number.. number ok so call again.. a different person answers the phone - same thing-- no one here by that name.

I say " are you sure- "   he says  "yes i am  sure "' this is a fruit shop"  

I GOT IT .....  An apple..........     april fools..   I so totally got  fooled.......... lol

Awe Marina... that's soooo funny (but poor you for being caught out!)

I come from a family of pranksters myself... we've done a whole heap of nasty jokes on each other... including one where mum dressed me up in a heap of bandages

When dad arrived to pick us up for the weekend (yes... broken but HAPPY family), she'd told him I'd been hit by a car earlier that week, and had come out of the hospital the day before... best darn acting I'd done in my life... but poor dad!! (Though... he has played his fair share of pranks too! hehehe)

I let him in on the secret after a while, coz I was starting to feel guilty with all the attention... turns out... he knew!! The joke was on me!!!! (lucky we all know how to laugh at ourselves... as well as each other!! hehehe)...

(there have been PLENTY more where that one came from... but that was a vivid one in my memory!!)
