I am cranky and upset. And just want to scream! (and cry a little). I have being loving my pp company for a long time and joined up late last year.... everything was going great even though it was the silly season.

NOW! I have one party booking which is happening in 6 weeks! . I did not have the confidence when I started to book parties... much to my detriment now.

I just wanted to put these negative thoughts out there as I know there others out there who can relate... I really need to hear your experiences. Also it looks like I have to get some leads from scratch... I have read some of the posts, anyone else got one thing that has really worked for them, please let me know.

And if anyone would love to make my day and PM saying they have been looking for a aroma, perfume, skincare PP in western sydney... that would be great.

Actually I am feeling better already.

Tomorrow I will hit the streets and sell some Charity.

Thanks for lending your ears

Hope tomorrow treats you better!

Treat yourself to a Yoga session, you will walk out feeling like you can take on the world.  And while you are there... talk to all the other ladies!

Good luck, we have all felt like that at one stage or another.

Yes, Yoga sound very nuturing which would be benefical at the moment.

Thank you  for your support

Hi Tanya,

I know exactly what you are going through, I have just been through the worst lull in my short career as a Tupperware Demonstrator, I have only just started to come out of it, I have now got a really busy month coming up, provided everything holds. I am a bit lost as to why people cancel out of something at the last minute, there are always genuine reason for cancelling a party but I am sure that most of the cancellations are just because no effort was made to get people to come along.

keep your chin up and keep going you will find it will pay off in the end.

Aromafairy,

I suggest you speak to your sponsor (upline) about your concerns. They usualy have some fabulous ideas on how you can build up your diary to where you want it to be. Believe it or not most of them would have felt the same way at some point when they first joined the company.

Good luck and happy Charity selling!!

If you'd like to talk privately feel free to pm me.

I agree Cath, you know when it is a genuine reason for cancelling, but I got the feeling she had not put in the effort to make her workshop successful. It is her loss as we have awesome hostess rewards.

Thanks Kelly for your support, I have a great upline who has been keeping me motivated and confident. It is hard to put into action everything you want to do for your company and juggle kids, work .

I will contact you as i have always enjoyed reading your upbeat and motivating messages and all the tips you have passed on through the forum.

I roamed the streets today! Well only 3 as that was all my 3yo Paige would let me. I knocked on many doors and hardly anyone was home BUT I sold one bottle of Charity to everyone who answered minus 2 who had notes to big for me to change! (NB - Take money for change next time).

The first house I went too happened to be someone who knew L*R*v* and had lost touch with her consultant. She ticked the box that said she would like to hold a presentation! YAY!

SO although my hostess cancelled the party she was having today, I went out raised $10 for BCNA and Starlight and found a lead.

And I went out and accomplished something (charity walk) that I had been afraid to do.

I can do this! I can do this!

Fantastic!!!! Well Done!! Thats a great effort and a great result. Good on you for giving it a try and how wonderful that you were rewarded with some sales and a booking etc. See it just goes to show how things can turn around with a little effort and a positive attitude and not forgetting to mention such a great walking companion :)

Yes you can do it!!! Yes you can do it!!!! :)

Hi AromaFairy,

I feel as if I was in your boat. I started in September of last year and when I started I wasn't following up leads for bookings and I generally wasn't too worried about it or really confident enough to ask.

So I came out of Christmas and looked at my diary and said "oh dear!". I had pretty much nothing in my diary, and it's only just come good this part month.

Stay positive and don't give up. Good on you for going out on the streets and stepping out of your comfort zone. That's fantastic!

Just thought that I'd add that the main thing that really helped me to get back into and revive my diary was holding a Mystery Host at home. It really, really helped!

I hope that things have brightened up for you since when you made this post.

Kellie
