Please don't take it personally. There is a weeny cliche with the chat room in that if someone dosn't log out properly and just close down the window that they will remain their in spirit until someone else enters and it senses a new action or something and then they just get logged out. I am not explaining it right. But main thing is they arent ignoring you, they had possibly been on earlier and not there when you were.
