Arrg Im going crazy and I wish this was explained to me the right way before I was in this mess..
When I joined up with CM, I was told that I just had to make 600 every three months... I thought far out thats easy..
Ive had a few big events on since december last year, and well I was struggeling fitting in parties.
so last month they tell me that I didnt meet my quota and I thought FAR OUT... but knew casue of after xmas it was bound to happen. My friend got me out of it, making an order to bring me over the threshold.
then this month I get the same post card, and I was pissed off. I thought I had the next three months to get the 600 bucks...
but I was apprently told wrong, and its something like a rolling three months... GEE if I was told that before hand I wouldnt have got in this situation.
so now I am trying to find extra orders, and im having NO luck. I will have to get a thing that will exempt me for three months but I can never use it again... so if something really happens Im out of the loop!
SOOOOO annoyed!

Sounds like its not worth all the stress and hassles.Theres plenty of PP out there who dont put all these ridiculous restrictions on being pushy with sales. We all do PP to suit our lifestyle and so it should be very flexible to suit YOU!Im sure they made money off you via the kit and the sales you have made so far and they should be grateful they have consultants at all!The more the merrier is usually the go.
Whats the worst that can happen? You get fired from that PP company
Kylie87 replied:
I agree with S.T in one way, have you looked at any PP's that are similar to the one that your doing now?
And if they have the same restrictions or similar products that you enjoy?
CKCath replied:
The rolling quarter thing was what really put me off joining CM when I first started looking at PP's.
I am so glad I found one that both feeds my scrapbooking addiction and doesn't make it hard to meet minimum sales requirements. Kaszazz ask us to sell $350 RRP in each of our four month blocks. $1000 or so a year....Hey I can do that alone.. forget what my customers order LOL.
I understand why so many companies have these, but some make them so hard to understand and to meet.
Good luck keeping on top of it.

I really feel for you here. I use to do CM many many many years ago and if memory (pardon my punnet of strawberries) serves it was $550 you had to get at that time and this was before they brought in the rolling quarters. At the time when i started I was really only a hobbyist so i found getting the quota a little hard. As time went by i ran more and more workshops and was going ok but then there was a slump again and they brough in those rolling quarters and i decided to leave. Pressure like that is just something you dont really need as there are enough stress's in life. JMO
Good luck

100% agree with S.T. there are heaps of PP that don't place unrealistic expectations on you.
What some people don't understand Party Plan is NOT recession proof and our business will go up and down - most of our products are luxury items.
Cheer up - there are other PP and other scrapbooking ones too.
I am amazed how scrapbooking has taken off. I do not have the patience to do it and I am in consant awe the girls that do it.

Aww, Kay I am so sad for you! I cant believe it was not explained better to you! You do NOT need to do the 600 rolling quaters to stay a consultant!!(only to stay an "active" one!) And please dont use a waiver, as that is only for when you have a major event. You can De Activate and still do parties and workshops, your upline will take care of the ordering for you! And as for the re activation fee, if you upline is really supporting you they will pay the $80 for you. You should not stress on it, talk to your upline if they are doing what they should be doing you will have no problems!!
I am more than happy to help you if you get stuck, or need to talk!!
CMmumoftwo replied:
Its fustrating, but I absolutly LOVE CM, just learning new things all the time I guess.
thanks scrappy for the advice, I hopefully have got almost all I need for the month, I am NOT going to use that waiver thing...

Hi there,
It's hard sometimes when we are doing something that we love but doesn't always support us in the right way that we would like. Sometimes things are sent to us like this to give us a challenge. You need to decide to either meet the challenge and find the sales or consider other options they are available to you.CM seem to be a good company but there are lots of other good ones too.
Thanks for sharing. Sharon from Stampin Up!. (Now there's a good company too).

Hi there,
I am a CM consultant too and I have constantly struggled with the rolling quarters. I have de activated twice and then rejoined again, it can be really tough if you are having a lull in your business.
Scrappy, thank you so much for your words of advice. I have never been told by my upline that I could still do workshops and parties and she would order for me and she has never offered to help me out at all each time I was struggling and I deactivated. Each time she basically told me it was my fault I couldnt make the total and that I should be pushing my customers to purchase each month. She has been no help to me at all - pity I couldnt deactivate and return under another upline!!
Good luck Cmmumoftwo. if you love CM and have a great upline, then they are worth staying with and getting the sales for. I just love the product which is why I am still a consultant.
