hi everyone.
had an awesome show on sunday.
it was in country victoria. riddells creek. $1650 and 2 bookings.
one of the ladies came up to me and said " i won't buy anything but i want to book a show.."
I love it when that happens.
My husband also did a show on sunday on his own and sold 750 and 1 booking.. The lady really wanted the hostess gift for free and booked her own show..
remember book book and your business will grow.

marina replied:
Hi.
the ladies show was last night and it was great sales.
we got a new hostess gift which i presented to her and one of the ladies there loved it and said if she can buy it..
I said no. it is only for hostesses. later she came up to me and bought some earrings and said that she will have a show to get the free hostess necklace.. i did not even ask..
so sales for me are good, but it is pararmount to book book and that is the first thing on my mind when i do a show.....
Kylie87 replied:
Wow thats great!
I had a party on Thursday which was only $500 in sales but 2 party bookings and then the host booked herself another party in 2 weeks for the new catalogue! :)
marina replied:
That is great Kylie.... great bookings and good party.....
Kylie87 replied:
I hope it all goes well...
UCW doesn't have hostess only items anymore so you can't use them as an incentive anymore which sucks when trying to book parties so I try and push the promotions and the $20 voucher...
How's everyone else going with bookings?
And do you have a certain line you use when doing a party/demonstration?
marina replied:
Hi Kylie
I really believe having a hostess gift and a good one is the way to get the bookings... this works for me .. again everyone is different....
bookings for me have been regular and steady...i love to over book which cater fo postponements.
I had 4 this week, but 2 postponed and 2 confirmed.. so all is good....
the goal to a great business for new guys is 10 bookings in your diary at any given time and then you need to build up to 20 shows at any given time to have the security of the business.

Eeek! I think I'm doing well if I have 4 party bookings in my diary! I'd probably faint if I had more than that lined up...

I understand that, I've just started with UCW so hopefully now I have my foot in the door and selling things it should get better...
I had 2 parties this weekend but no further bookings and 3 next week so fingers crossed!
marina replied:
hi Kylie,,
good luck with your parties next week.. make sure you get bookings out of those 3 parties.....
let us know how you go...
good luck.

I agree with Marina. Aim to always have at least 10 bookings in your diary - 20 would be better!! Plus they should be within the next 3-4 weeks. A booking 3 or 4 months down the track doesn't count. It's the only way to grow your business and it allows for those cancellations or postponements. Most importantly, decided when you want to work and get your hostesses to book into your schedule - not the other way around. If you do a good job and form a relationship with your customers, they will work in with you. If someone wants to book a show at a time I don't want to work, I usually say "I'm sorry but I'm not working at that time. If you really want it then I can get one of the other ladies in my team to do it for you." I have NEVER had a customer say okay to that. They always say "Oh no I really want you to do it!" then they fit into my schedule!

Well I thought I would just share with you what happened this week...
2 parties down, 1 was just a large order and the other party got 1 booking for the next day!
It was Wednesday morning and she wanted the party Thursday night so I agreed to show up and gave her the normal party pack stuff.
Her party last night ended up with about $500 in sales and 3 party bookings! And she only had 24 hours or so to get people together...
So I have my own party tonight to launch the new catalogue so hopefully I get some bookings off that...
I was just shocked by how quickly this lady got her act together and got it done and what a tremendous effort she went to.
If only I was that organised. :)
How's bookings going with you other girls?

Hi
My business partner and I are currently booked out until mid may, with some slots available in June and a few more available in July. We have always taken the attitude that we will get bookings from wherever they come from, be it parties or enquiries from sites like this one and friends. We cannot just sit back and wait for bookings that come from parties although most of them do come from parties. People who book parties definitely seem to be attracted to a consultant who is busy !
We also have an exclusive hostess gift that cannot be had except if you host a party. I think that this is really important. I also believe that no matter how little sales you get from a party, you should always give the host a gift. They have, after all let you come into their home and present your wares to their guests. How does everyone else feel about this ?
Hope everyone has had a great week
Cheers
Melinda
