Its very important to learn about your products, especially for those of us who sell consumables (perfumes, chocolates, food, etc).
Do you know whats in you products? Any number of ingredients may cause an allergic reaction, some people may not be able to use particular ingredients for religous or personal reasons.
For example I know that not one of the products I sell contains any animal products or by-products, nothing has ever been tested on animals and become an ingredient in any of the products. If you have read my shameless post you would see one of the reasons why! We even have a perfume product that contains no alcohol (usually a main ingredient in perfumes) for those with allergies or religious beliefs that stop them using anything containing it.
You can be asked questions such as 'does it contain any nut products?'; 'is it animal friendly?' etc.
Can you answer those sorts of questions about your products?

I just had a Product Knowledge workshop and it was so good, it really helped me at my next party when I was asked the difference between similar garments.
UCW also gives us a Product Knowledge booklet on the latest catalogue which helps a lot when answering questions about certain garments because we can't remember everything! :)
