Hi,
Just wondering if any of the stall holders at yesterdays N/side Expo want to share how they fared bookings/sales wise.
Would also love to know how many guests came along to take a look. I hear it was a hot one, but don't let it put you off the S/side one- it's got air conditioning!
Cheers, Andrea.

I think most people where happy for the time they were there...
There was a unanimous vote to finish the event early (Lawton showgrounds hit 43 degrees C before 12 pm). The heat was ruining some exhibitors products, and the heat was making some people sick
The Saturday markets themselves finished early too.

Just wanted to say what a lovely bunch of people we met at Lawnton Expo. It was a shame that Brisbane had to experience a heatwave on the same day.
It was interesting to see such a variety of goods that you can not only sell through having parties and also become consultants but were able to purchase heaps of goodies on the day.
We enjoyed singing for the stall holders and visitors at the expo and can only hope that we may of also added to the atmosphere.
Cheers to all and hope to see some of you again at the gorgeous Glen Hotel for the next expo!

It was such a shame that the event ended up being on the hottest day in so long, I know that I would not have been out wandering around in that heat if I had the option - so I am not at all phased by the lack of attendance.
It was fantastic to see all the other exhibitors and talk to some absolutely lovely ladies - I have heaps of brochures and catalogues to browse through over the next few days.
Thank you to all involved in the organisation of the event.

It was certainly an EXTREMELY hot day which unfortunatley made the event uncomfortable for everone.
I wasn't overly impressed with the venue iteself but William the caretaker of the hall was absolutely lovely and helpfull in looking after us all so he recieved many thanks for his efforts.
The exhibits looked great, alot of effort went into presentation of their products and the range available was fantastic and those who attended should be proud! Most were quite happy with the leads and party bookings received that day and are very excited about attending the Southside event.
It was a real shame about the heat, towards lunchtime people were getting sick, dehydrated and consumable products were getting ruined so it was decided to pack up and leave early. I also felt for our entertainers, Dale & Patsy from Possums on The Road singing away drenched in sweat...their effort was amazing and much appreciated.
I stayed after for anyone who came along looking for the event seeing it was advertised to finish later to ensure they each received a showbag and gave balloons to the kids, all were very sympathetic about the early close of the event.
Mr PP also put in a fab effort in setting up the tables with me despite being ill and to ensure we are comfortable at the next Party Plan Expo on the southside, he is sponsoring the events extra airconditioning fee! ($350 over our budget)
Cheers, Tanya
