Please make an appointment with a reputable insurance broker and sit down and discuss your needs and requirements with them.  They will then shop around and get you the very best cover for YOU.  Business insurance is probably one of the most important investments you will make so it has to be done properly.  You wouldn't ask a mate for legal advise, it is the same here go to the professionals. 

Sorry if this sound slightly abrupt but I my husband  is a final year law student and is doing some work for a barrister whose specialty is insurance.  The problems are neverending if you aren't properly covered.

Thanks for you reply, I don't think your abrupt at all :) i'm just glad for the information, i've never been in business before so honestly have no idea. I can imagine what kind of trouble you can get into especially with the business i'm going into.  I will def look at an Inusrance broker

Must say I totally agree with Madonna.  As with everything there are great and not so great people out there.  Its wonderful to see that you are looking in to it, so many people don't bother and when the #%$@^ hits the fan they wish they had and as we both know its too late then.

I have just been looking into insurance and found a really helpful person by the name of Nicole Nelson at RGIB Insurance  ph. 1800 802956 or www.rgib.com.au.

They organised a policy for me to cover Aust. wide for in-home demos., markets, fairs, festivals,

shopping centres etc. for 5 million at a cost of just over $500 per year.

Unfortunately its a necessary evil, too late after something happens.
