Hi just wondering if you have ever set up a stall at a market or expo to promote your party plan business; to gain new consultants or to promote more parties. I am thinking of doing the Pregnancy, babies and children expo in Perth in August.
Would love to hear to your opionion or to hear abourt your successes or downfalls?

Hi Mya,
I have not had a stall at the PBC as yet, but have done at a couple of smaller expos. The PBC is without doubt the biggest "baby" event of the year and is a great spot to gain exposure for your business - however - it is very pricey with the smallest stall starting at around about $2000 and increasing from there.(Brisbane price - not sure of Perth)
I am hoping to attend the Brisbane one this year by sharing a stall with another WAHM (work at home mum). Maren from Wahmtastic is trying to organise this for me. You might like to take at look at her site www.wahmtastic.com.au and see if it is of any help to you.
Cheers, Andrea.

Wow! I had no idea it could be that expensive. However if you gain tones of business I guess it could be worth it. Thanks for letting me know.
Did you take any orders at the fair?
