I have been given the potenial opportunity to demonstrate a all male party.  As I am a Tupperware demostrator I can see the possible benifts the poducts can have for men eg: for fishing, in the shed.  However since all my parties so far have been with women I am a bit nervous about it.

I was wondering if any one had demonstrated a all male party before and has any advice.

As a man, I have found tupperware fanstastic....

(for air-tight paint storage containers, car oil pans, etc)

Interesting! Let us know how it goes.

Hi there,

I once demonstrated a T/ware party (many yrs ago) for a guy. Don't worry too much about making it "macho" specific.

A man hosts a party for the same reason as a woman - to get free product. Simply find out from the host what he is after and what he likes about it.

Chances are that he also wants the products for the kitchen. Is the guy single and living alone, flatting with other guys etc. He needs to cook and eat too! Not to be presumptuous, but if every guest is male - there could be a good chance your host is gay. My host was.

Maybe the whole "men in the shed" thing just isn't his style.

My hubby was always whinging about how much t/ware I had around the house back then, but discovered that he couldn't live without it - it keeps the corn chips fresh and crunchy!

The only thing to be aware of is your personal safety. If you were demonstrating for a bunch of hetero macho guys (possibly drinking and making a joke of it) do you want to be the only female present? Do you persoanlly know some of the guests or the host?

Just my thoughts- hope this helps.

Thanks for your thoughts.

The guys are straight and I do know them so have no concerns about my safety, plus I think I'll bring my husband along.

I was just wondering what to do with them,  with a normal party I play party games.

Why not just go and be yourself and handle the party the same as you would any other..really one  shouldn't discriminate...does it really make a difference if they are boys or girls??
Have noticed a few t/w male consultants around.....and pretty sure they just handle each party the same way..boys or girls....

Sar223, how did your "all male" party go?

Hey Sar,

I know your post was a long time ago, but I saw it today and wanted to address it (in case you want to do it again....OR someone else out there might want to do one themselves).

I've had SUPER successful MAN shows....especially around the holidays.  Create an invite postcard or utilize the free online inviting source called evite.com. Make it a tailgate party at their house (or yours) with the big screen featuring whatever game is playing.  Serve wings, beer, nachos and skins.  Since it's around the holidays offer free gift wrapping.

Good luck and GO TEAM!

Cindy
