Hi Guys,

I'm not really sure if this is a virus but thought I'd warn you just in case.

I received the following email with the attachment Update-KB437-X86.exe in my mailbox today.

My Internet security program blocked the attachment.  I deleted the email straight away then did a quick search on the web and only one search answer came up - making me think this is a virus, because if it wasn't wouldn't Microsoft or Norton have updates on their websites that would have shown up?

I don't know much about viruses and things but maybe one of you could clarify whether this is harmful or not:

Subject : Mail server report.

Our firewall determined the e-mails containing worm copies are being sent from your computer.

Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus type (Network Worms).

Using the new bug in the Windows, these viruses infect the computer unnoticeably.

After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the e-mail addresses and sends the copies of itself to these e-mail addresses

Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer restoring.

Best regards,

Customers support service

The address it came from was secur @ areainc.com

Kind Regards,

Rach :)
